Since purchasing the restaurant in early 2013, owner James Martin remains true to the lofty standards Chef Nicola established. Everything was amazing! Had the meatball appetizer, the cantaloupe and prosciutto appetizer, The Caesar salad. For dinner we had the seafood pasta platter, and the Veal piccata. For dessert we had the house special cannolis. The service was wonderful! Atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting! My wife and I will definitely be going back there!

What can I even begin to say about this establishment? My 1st word would probably be outstanding. Every single detail about our whole time there was just perfect. If you ever want to experience a one of a kind dinner, then this is the place of your dreams . Hats off to the chef for personally checking on us & our meal. Great little spot in Springfield. Atmosphere is cozy and unique. We have been coming here for years as my son attends MSU and enjoy it each time. Make sure to stop by when tomatoes are in season they grown them right there on the property and they are yummy!

Excellent on all counts. Every course was unique and delicious! This is not your typical Italian chain restaurant. They grow their own fresh herbs and greens for the dishes in their own extensive and beautiful gardens there. The lillies were all blooming their heads off in an impressive show of color the day we went. The service was top notch and our friendly server was so knowledgeable about each dish on the menu, and very attentive to our every need. Overall, an awesome dining experience!

Cozy but a bit crowded and loud that I’m not expecting in a Italian restaurant. Foods comes out in great taste, especially the Polpette al Vino Marinara. The Gilardis Pasta with Meat Sauce is creamy, flavorful but just a bit salty. The Osso Buco is a must try.

Large private group are here in 7/11/23. We were served bruschetta, salad, hot bread, lasagna, chicken parmesan in noodles Alfredo and beef tips. All had a great taste. Beef tips were very chewy and not tender. Service was impeccable. Facility was clean with a nice ambiance.
