Ate lunch here the other day. Had the lunch hibachi special. It was very good. It was hot and fresh and a great size. We also had edamame for an app and it was great. My friends had sushi and a tuna salad and they said it was great as well. We enjoyed our lunch…it rocked!

Decided to try this place based on the latest reviews. We were the only table seated. The place was empty. Food came out at different times, the first roll came out in about 25min and the last roll never came.

We decided to give it a chance in spite of some of the reviews & I am so glad we did! The server was kind, professional, & attentive. The poppers are a great twist on a classic. The sushi was EXCELLENT. Might I recommend the Tour Bus? What ever the managers are doing, it is working. Happy to recommend.

I came here for dinner on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was completely empty with three servers. Despite our server being very friendly, they did not have any alcohol to serve, took about 30 minutes to bring out a dish due to the prep not being done. To say the least, the sushi roll that’s in the picture is the spicy tuna roll and it was very disappointing. Presentation 2/10, Taste 3/10… Not a good sushi restaurant for it being in the heart of the capitol.

The food was really good. My server, Delilah, she was super nice. She gave me some suggestions based on the type of sushi I like to eat and they were spot on! Definitely will be coming back soon!! I ordered the miso soup with the Jailhouse and the Axl roll!! And there’s a hand comparison for how big the miso soup bowl is.

I ordered two rolls and hibachi Togo. The rolls were not rolled very well, there were no chopsticks included with my order and my soup is missing. I am very disappointed with this order.

I don’t usually leave reviews at all unless it’s a memorable experience. When we walked in, they told us to sit wherever. Then proceeded to make us move to a different booth. It was 12:30 and there were literally only 2 other tables in the restaurant. The walk to the bathroom was sketchy and the bathroom was filthy. When our food arrived, I almost giggled because it was something I’d feed a toddler. The portion size for the $14 steak bowl was terrible. The steak was cooked about medium rare and there was a total of about 6 bite sized pieces. The lights were dim so we couldn’t see much. We took our cups to go (they serve your drinks in plastic cups you can take home) Once we stepped outside into light we saw a very large film over the top of our drinks. Poured the drinks out and there was a big greasy residue left in the cup. Being almost 36 weeks pregnant and wanting to try something new and leaving not knowing what you just put into your body for your child to have(the film in the drink) is so disappointing. The health department needs to visit ASAP.

Honestly I visited in December and wasn’t impressed. This visit it was so clean, so speedy and the staff was on point. The sushi was perfection and they told us alcohol was on the way soon. We got a fried roll and it was topped and sauce and devoured. The new manager was rolling sushi and working the crowd and cleaning and several of the employees were also working several different positions to serve everybody as quickly as possible. Happy we came back and we even ordered DD the following day and had a rocking experience. Great job to them making a come back

The fried wanton was not to my liking. The chicken solos with fried rice, vegetables and a salad with ginger dressing was good. My daughter had the Jailhouse roll which she enjoyed. Our waitress was very nice.
