Great place to stop and fill up in a rush, Panda Garden’s menu is competently executed and a great value at around $8 a lunch. Pretty much everything is good, but my personal recommendation is the Kung Pao Chicken, which has a nice balance of bitterness and spiciness which is a welcome contrast to the overly sweet sauces indicative of most Chinese takeaway. The staff are polite and friendly and the establishment is clean if a little spartan in terms of decor. I wouldn’t suggest it as a date night location but if you’re craving some great stir fry at a reasonable price without the bells and whistles of more puffed up Chinese restaurants Panda Garden has everything you need and nothing you don’t.

I ate in during my lunch break. The place looked clean. I got my order of sweet & sour chicken within 10 minutes & it was piping hot. The coke tasted ok. The food, however, was very bland. I even tried an egg roll, & it was bland as well. The portion size for the price was great, I just wish the food had tasted better.

The staff has always been friendly and the service is very quick. Usually the food is really good. But today I got sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. This is what I normally get.The rice was good. The chicken and egg roll however wasn’t very good. This is the first time that I haven’t liked the food there. So not sure what the problem was. I’ll go back though and see if it was just an off day.
