Walking near this place and the smell was so good, once we come inside it’s an old vibe, and was super chill. The receptionist was super nice, and the waitress was super nice and helpful. We ordered the three meat combo, which was pork, chicken, and ribs. The pork was my favorite so far but the others were amazing too. I ordered the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes, and they were both incredible as well. It’s a must-try place and a must comeback.

I had the salad with brisket on the top. My Husband had mashed sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese with the beef ribs and brisket. My brisket was very good, it was moist and flavorful. My husband said that the ribs were good and he also thought the brisket was good. He said the mashed sweet potato and Mac and cheese were superb. They have several BBQ sauces to choose from so they have a little for everyone. Overall it was really good. I was pleased!

The food was very good. Fried pickles were not overly breaded or soggy. Yum! I had a pulled pork sandwich, and my friend had the ribs; also, it’s quite good. I was hoping for smoked mac n cheese and more sauce selections. The server was excellent, one step ahead of us every time.

We’ve been coming here every Spring Break for the past five or six years and it’s still some of the best BBQ around. I’m no BBQ expert but I do enjoy eating a plate full of meat every now and then, and this is the place for that. The Mac n cheese is absolutely a must if you like it. The portions are fairly generous and you leave on a very full stomach if not with a to-go box. Our server Monique was completely awesome and took great care of us, which adds a positive to the whole experience. Prices are reasonable to better than most for the amount you get. Kansas City burnt ends as an appetizer simply sets your meat quest in motion. There was no room for dessert this year, so banana pudding will have to wait until next year. Thank you Mojo’s and Monique for a positively memorable experience, again.

I came in for lunch with a roaring appetite after riding my bike around St Augustine all morning. The brisket plate left me fully satisfied! It was a lean brisket. Nice smoke ring and great flavor. I enjoyed the array of bbq sauces, especially the MOJO sauce. The collard greens were very good and I also really enjoyed the cole slaw. The friendly bartender provided an ice cold beer to wash it down

I did not expect a place in FL to have better BBQ than the best in TX, KC, etc. Mojo was better than all of those top spots! The brisket, burnt ends, turkey, and fries were the best ever, at least on this occasion. The ribs and sides were pretty high on the list. Nice variety of sauces. Outstanding waiter. And, to top it all off, it’s in the center of the historic district, yet their prices are reasonable. Best meal in a long time!

My wife and I visited today, 12/30/2022. I had the two meat platter with brisket and smoked chicken breast with fries and baked beans and my wife go the house salad. We planned to share the meals. The brisket was very good, better than most Texas BBQ joints that we visited, the chicken was perfect, the fries were excellent, the Texas toast was no that good, no flavor and chewy, the beans were weird tasting, having a seasoning or flavor that wasn’t bbq style. We have visited here many times and I have always liked the beans so something has changed about them. The salad was good. The server, David, was very friendly and efficient. The food came out very fast. I would recommend.

The decor and atmosphere of the restraunt is very relaxing, however the service was poor. Waitress was very curt and dismissive, not friendly at all. The food was horrible, cole slaw was sour, the onion rings was overly breaded and the onion inside tough, the sweet mash tasted like box mix… the pork was tender but you could definitely taste what they smoked it with (cherry wood chips is my guess). Ive had better.
