I had a hot pastrami sandwich on Challah bread and my boyfriend had the sloppy mos. Both sandwiches were deliciously divine! We’ll definitely be coming back for lunch soon. Service was great and the tables were clean. The pastrami was top-notch and I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.

I was really excited to come here because I was SOOO hungry. The last time I came here I remember my sandwich and beef barley soup being The customer service was just ok, I asked for no condiments on my sandwich (I was the only customer) and they still put condiments on my sandwich. The roast beef tasted lifeless (I should have gone to subway). The beef barley soup lacked flavor and tasted like it’s been sitting for numerous hours (almost like it was significantly over cooked). Maybe I just caught them at a bad time or on a bad day, but due to this experience, I won’t be coming here again (I wish I could return the meal and get my money back). The environment is really nice though.

I don’t normally get too critical with reviews, but I have to here. Decided to use a coupon that we found and tried this deli for the first time. My wife could not use the app effectively so she went into get the order in the store. Even while dictating the order to the people in the store, it came out wrong. I hate when you get home and you find the order is not right. A tuna melt sandwich actually came out to be a chicken salad sandwich that was not worth the price. It was dry. The gluten-free sandwich was half size. Not worth the price. We found this when we got home and did not want to travel back across town to get the correct sandwich. I ordered a Reuben and it was good, but not overly impressive. Was hoping for more from this deli!

This is a place you’ll fall in love with. It’s family owned and operated, a restaurant I’d frequent regularly if we lived in Anchorage. Our meal was awesome and freshly made. We loved everything about our sandwiches, pastrami and turkey on rye and the egg salad. This might be our new favorite lunch spot in Anchorage. Can’t wait to come back.

Taste something different today and stop by Mo’s Deli and Catering. I ordered Mo’s Bagel and Lox ($12.75) with a drink and chips. Don’t let the prices dissuade your decision to eat here. These are not tiny bagels, so you’ll get plenty of meat and veggies. I was full after eating one half of my meal. Refill soda drinks during your visit. There is a small bar next to the glass for those of you that like extra sunshine. Plenty of smaller tables for parties of 4. I was here at noon on Saturday and I saw two employees, so maybe it was a shift change. Employees are polite and they quickly complete your order.

Thank you for bringing quality deli to Anchorage! The pastrami is solid and the blintzes, latkes, and chopped liver are all on point. Really friendly and quick service. We’ll definitely be back.

Racial slurs, shop talk- I was disgusted I didn’t even finish the doordash I was on. I walked in and the guy was talking about native and white chick’s. I’m a native and white chick lol. I doordash but keep it professional I’m there for the customer.

One sandwich was good the other was not to order. The sandwiches were supposed to come with pickles, but attention to detail failed the servers again. When a customer orders no mustard and there is a huge squirt of deli mustard, it makes for a poor review. Soups are lacking genuine quality of homemade flavor. Don’t make the mistake of ordering their soups. The brownie and cookie were good.
