What a fantastic lunch at a great local spot! I had the bacon meatloaf cheeseburger and my son had the Forks and Knives cheeseburger. I love that their bread and buns are all homemade! The food was delicious and the staff was so sweet! It was Valentine’s Day and you could tell how much they are loved because people from the community kept coming in to give them gifts ❤️

We stopped in to Mc Pherson’s today for lunch. The parking lot was crowded and we could not get a booth inside the restaurant. I ordered fish sandwich with fries and my Mother ordered meatloaf. The meal came to a little over $22. The meatloaf and fish sandwiches are specialty dishes at this restaurant. The fish sandwich was good although I could have used more tartar sauce. The French fries were ok, but not the best I’ve ever had. The meals were large so we did not eat the entire meal. The waitress stopped by to get the order and to check us out, but didn’t come by to ask how our food was or if we needed anything – that is, until we were ready to go. I had to stop her to ask for mustard for my fries. The bathroom door would not stay shut and it is very tight fit in the room although it is clean (that’s a good sign). This restaurant is known for its cinnamon rolls and bread which I’ve had before in the past and they are very good. I think the indice of the restaurant looks q but dated, but I guess that adds to the charm of the restaurant. I don’t pass through this way often, but I’d stop here for breakfast. The prices are reasonable, the food is delivered quickly and the servers are friendly.

Went in close to the noon lunch rush. Place was packed but the waitresses kept up, and the food was excellent and prompt to the table. Had a western omelette with hash browns and home baked cinnamon/raisin wheat toast. Food was tasty and hot, and my toast had plenty of butter which I like. Even bought a loaf of cinnamon/raisin bread I liked it so well. All and all a great experience and meal.

Y’all need to stop here! Try to come in the morning when all their pies and baked goods are in stock! Staff were so friendly and kind. Ask them what they recommend they will give you great options. Food was sooo soo good! Place was clean and had lots of daily specials. I’m hoping we can make it back to try the cinnamon rolls. (They were already sold out)

They have great food, it’s a small diner, but well worth it, they make the best cranberry bread along with there giant cinnamon rolls, which feed at least 4 to 6 people. Great service, but well worth it. And very reasonable with prices. We have eaten breakfast and lunch here.

Drove all the way from Ortonville to pick up “family size” cinnamon roll…their specialty! AWESOME, had to weigh 2+ pounds and delicious. $7.99 very reasonable. For an early lunch I had fish & chips and my Wife had a burger. Both VERY good. Cod is hand dipped light batter and her burger was fresh, juicy, cooked perfectly. One of our new favorites. We’re trying breakfast next! Prices very reasonable with generous portions. Fast friendly staff. Thank you McPherson’s!

We order from them a lot and never had a problem. I got fish and chips with a baked potato. She asked if I wanted sour cream, I said yes please. Got it home and no baked. Called them and they said they ran out of baked??? Never told me that when I ordered. So, no potato at all, but same price!
