Typical Mexican restaurant for the area. If you’re partial to ElMag’s, this won’t be your favorite. Not busy at all. Got full pretty quick. They stayed on top of the drinks and made sure we were satisfied. Everything had a hint of nasty water in the flavor.

this place had the best Mexican food I have had since I lived in California. The chili verde is amazing. Great value for money too. Friendly service. I can’t recommend enough.

Great food and service, staff was friendly and made jokes. Food was decently priced and tasted wonderful. Will return.

Today we tried the Burrito Spread. We would highly recommend it. We also had the chimichanga again. I chose all chicken but next time I get it I might try half chicken-half beef to mix it up a little. The salsa was chunky and I thought very good. Service was good. I took a picture of the chips and salsa but forgot to take a picture of the food. I was too hungry. Original post: This is a new Mexican Restaurant for downtown Grain Valley. We stopped in for lunch a few days before Christmas. Service was a little slow. Wait for food was a little long. There was only one other couple in there. My chimichanga was delicious! My husband only so-so enjoyed his burrito. The facility itself was what I would expect. It’s downtown Grain Valley and in an old strip mall. The restaurant was clean and large. They have handwritten menus posted which gives it a “Mom and Pop” small town feel. Which could be good or bad, depending on your opinion of such things. Overall our dining experience was positive enough that we will return. It’s worth trying it one time to see for yourself.

If I could give a zero I would. Everything we ordered came out wrong and when I told them they said bc we had taken a single bite they wouldn’t do anything. I explained it’s hard to know the food is wrong until after a bite is taken. Very poor customer service. The food itself was ok just not even close to what we ordered

Went for lunch, was told they had no tamales 10 minutes after my order was taken. No tamales in a Mexican restaurant??? My refried bean were microwaved to the point where they turned into a liquefied mush. The salsa tasted “watered” down. Tacos were ok. Prob won’t be going back.

Would recommend just going down the street to ElMag’s. The food and service here is just not good. The restaurant itself is also in very rough shape. Save yourself the trouble and choose somewhere else. Way better Mexican food options nearby.

The most bland food ever. I got the bowl with steak chicken cheese cactus $26. Left on table had the 5 shrimp. Not a fan for sure was great when first opened up. But the quality has definitely declined

Had this for the first time last night. Got 3 street tacos, then ordered a few more after I finished. So good. I’ll definitely go back!
