Eunice’s Country Cookin’ Menu – Fort Smith, AR

Type : American restaurant

Location : Fort Smith, AR

Eunice’s Country Cookin’ began its humble beginnings in 1976 in a little house on Jenny Lind Ave. close to Ramsey Junior High. This house was the original location for Catfish Cove, where Eunice was the head chef. When Catfish Cove moved to their new building on Phoenix Ave., Eunice and Roy Waggoner decided to try their hand at owning their own restaurant. It was a family affair with Eunice teaching her son how to cook and her daughters how to waitress. After twenty successful years, the little house burned down June 13, 1997. With Eunice and Roy not wanting to start over, their son Dennis and his wife Cindy decided to re-open the restaurant four months later at its present location.

Love love love this place! Everything here is delicious! My go-to. Large portions and everything is homemade. I haven’t eaten a meal here over 15 dollars and have never been able to finish all of my food.

Tried this place at peak lunch time on free tea Tuesday. The service was fast and friendly. I had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. The potatoes were buttery smooth topped with a creamy white gravy. The chicken was very moist and had a very crisp well seasoned breading. The chocolate peanut butter pie was a rich sweet treat.

Saw this when we drove by the other day, decided to try it. Service was fast. Menu is choose a meat item and get two sides and a roll, which made ordering easy. Food won’t win any awards but it was decent. Chicken fried steak was actual meat, not a fritter, but out of a box. Okra was overcooked. Mac and cheese was good. We got there just before the lunch rush, and it filled up quickly.

Good food for sure but nothing that makes breakfast any better than the rest. I will say that price is good . $8.75 for 2 eggs, 3 bacon , a generous portion of potatoes and two pancakes.

First time visit. Our lunch was delicious and will be back soon. Thanks to our waitress Whitney. She was very helpful with my situation. My friend Randall had a slice of ham. Jalapeno corn muffin, and I think okra ( ).

Service was acceptable. The gravy was a mix, appeared to be premade warmed up biscuits, preprocessed jelly like sausage patties and very greasy eggs. Wii not return.

You get what you pay 9.99 a plate everything’s out of a can frozen out of a box rolls cornbread, cold i’ll give them this soon as you order it’s on the table . Now the tea was good. The staff is friendly. If I wanted a TV dinner I would’ve went to Walmart got me a hungry man. But there’s nothing home made about it

I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant. Alot of food options were not available and the food was basic and bland. We only saw the waitress at order, drop off and pay, otherwise we were ignored.

I love this place. It’s like grandma’s cooking on the fly. We had the goulash and put roast. You get plenty to eat for a great price
