Ordered food online from this restaurant. Always wanted to try their food. Ordered shrimp fried rice. I have tried this item in so many places and this one is so far best to me. The amount of food was above average and they added good amount of shrimp. Worth the price. Should try again.

I really enjoyed every moment of eating here, this is the kind of full and rich ramen I have been looking for in the ramen restaurants I have tried in Texas. Definetly stop in if you’re looking for a full and delicious bowl of ramen. The staff are also incredibly friendly, and I love the thoughfulness of the care and refresh items in the restroom. It’s a surprisingly great rest stop if you’re driving through waco.

Amazing! I didn’t think Waco had great sushi, but this is the place! Delicious, well-made rolls. Ramen is fantastic too. The broth…. . Friendly great service from Abby, and we did not have to wait long for our food. To top it off I got a free dessert for my birthday. Thanks Hokkaido! We’ll be back.

I’m so excited that the Asian scene is gaining traction in Central Texas. Hokkaido is an excellent addition to the Asian culinary scene. The menu is diverse and the portions are generous! I was thrilled to try this place, but it seems like things went bad as soon as I read on the door, “temporarily not serving sushi”, then to make matters worse they sit us next to the restrooms. Our waitress had a scent of cigarettes on her person and every time she made any movement, I would smell the slate smel of cigarettes. The only option was to order ramen since sushi was out of the question. I spotted the veggie ramen as it looked good and didn’t say it contained any eggs. I was excited, but only to be even more disappointed once the food arrived. The veggie ramen broth was thick and creamy consistency. The broth tasted like egg yolk and smelt like eggs. The taste was acquired and disgusting.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a few weeks. I’m an otr truck driver and all I do is Austin to Detroit and back so I stop in Waco a lot. The garlic tonkotsu ramen was excellent, top notch stuff. The takoyaki with the bonito flake was a little fishy so you won’t like it if you’re not a fish head. Hokkaido milk tea was excellent but there was no straw with my order and I had to improvise. I didn’t care for the texture of the mochi but the ice cream inside was good. That is just my preference as it was my first time trying mochi and I’m sure it’s good if you like mochi. I can’t say anything about the atmosphere because I got doordash delivery.

My husband and I took friends here this weekend. It was our first time visiting and also their first time. The restaurant looks nice and clean. The workers that I was able to observe from my chair seemed pleasant, helpful and attentive. There was an older gentleman who seemed to be the owner or manager that was making sure everything was as it should be. The food was delicious and we had an enjoyable time. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and my husband ordered the Spicy Beef Ramen. I think that I will try the Beef Fried Rice next time. The spring rolls were hot and delicious. If they would have had regular sweet tea on the menu, that would have been even better!
