This was legitimately one of the most pleasant dining experiences we have ever had. We are not local, so the concept of Supper Club is a foreign concept for us. But I would imagine if you looked up Supper Club in the dictionary, Wallace Lake would be photoset.

This was our first time visiting Wallace Lake Supper Club, what a fantastic experience. A true gem that exemplifies the meaning of Supper Club. The moment you walk in everything falls into place. A gem that magnifies the meaning of a true Wisconsin Supper Club. Staff attentive, service spot on and food done to perfection. A place that provides an atmosphere for a older crowd, relaxed and feels like home. Everything was amazing. Nothing I’ll or bad to say about our decision to go here. Celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary here last night. The aged beef rib eye was not as medium rare as desired, but all else was perfect. Our waitress was phenomenal, even treating us to a delightful dessert. The remodeling job was done very nicely! Congratulations to the owner who saw the possibilities!!

Our server Rosie was amazing. The food was delicious. I had the perch and the seasoning was delicious. The French onion soup was great. The German potato salad wasn’t overly sweet, and had a LOT of bacon. The atmosphere was lovely.

Service was a little slower they were busy but not as busy as other times I’ve been there. My fiance and grandmother ordered the beef wellington. Both of thiers was way over cooked. I had prime rib and treated myself to a lobster tail. I will say the lobster was cooked perfectly and had great flavor as did the prime rib. The drinks were great. The view and atmosphere is great. Even with the the slower service it would of been 5 stars had the wellingtons not been overcooked.

Wallace lake is a beautiful spot. Definitely make reservations. Food and service quality have been varied on our trips. But if you love old Wisconsin Supper clubs this is definitely one to try. 10/10 best frog legs we’ve had in a hot minute. Another place would highly recommend making a reservation.
