Very good Mexican food. Two locations, Soldotna and Kenai Alaska. Large servings so bring a big appetite. Just went to the Kenai location. Same great food and better, bigger location.

The food is OK. The Mexican staff are always friendly. The non Mexican staff act like they hurt and don’t want to be there. It’s always painful to watch them walk around sad and in distress it seems. . The food is warm and taste well . Nothing over the top here , it’s pricey , but normally priced for Alaska dining. Salsa is nice. Mild or Hot heat, but chips are always over cooked.

The service staff was nice enough but the place was understaffed, and there was a hard to overcome language barrier. My co-worker got a sweet tea and said it was so bad that he couldn’t drink it and her response was, “well good.” On check out, our she was overcharging us and we couldn’t communicate well enough to fix it completely. However, the food was pretty good, so that’s why I gave it two stars instead of one. It could have just been a bad day.

Very friendly and their Mexican dishes are authenticity made. They make the BEST menudo! Way better than Gallos. Don’t let the price of $10 a bowl dissuade you. Their bowls are HUGE and worth every penny!

I was very disappointed. My husband and I went in sat down waited and waited the one waitress working seemed to be doing her best but the young girl helping her decided to ignore us and keep wiping down tables until a single guy walked in then she dropped everything, run right past us to get him a menu and proceeded to put her knee up on the booth the young man was in a flirt all while ignoring us. We felt purposely ignored won’t be going back.

Went in with my bff for a late lunch on a week day, all the servers sat with family, while, we assumed, the cook served us and was very funny! Server couldn’t understand our order, had to have it explained in spanish!! Food was great, as usual and good portions, as we were hungry!!

The food was just ok. The service was not good by any stretch of the imagination. No greeting at the door, no “how ya doing,” no offering to refill the beverage, no refilling the salsa and no asking how the food was, during or after service. Oh, and no goodbye or have a nice day either, lol. And yet I still tipped 20% because I’ve been a server before and am sympathetic. But come on people.
