A very pleasant surprise to a group of tourists!!! We had the lunch special and an order of wings. The special came with a half sub, a salad or soup, and a humongous piece of pizza. All of our food was hot and delicious. Our waiter was patient and helpful but did not hover. It was a great experience!

We dined at Sal’s Hollywood location tonight and our waitress Sue was phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable and explained all the specials in detail and any questions we had! She served everything very fast and was a pleasure having her serve us! The food was awesome as well but, it always is at Sal’s! They are always consistent and that’s what we look for in a great dining experience!

Didn’t even have a chance to order, the woman who answered the phone was so rude and out of order. I wouldn’t spend a penny here! Get a clue lady, when people are calling inquiring about your food treat them with sone DECENCY!!! Wish there was a -5 star!

The grandma’s pizza was very tasty. Would definitely go back for that and the garlic rolls. However, I don’t believe the Eggplant was made from scratch. It was very watery. Overall, decent food at a decent price.

Real italian paradise stopped by today for a pizza, heard sooo much about this place from all my neighbours! Got classic – crunchy perfection golden cheese pizza and super cold Peroni with chilled glass and amazing service. You can feel good vibes and everyone was sooo cheerful. We sat in a booth, sooo comfortable and just right temperature, my new fav to go spot took pizzas with me to neighbour bbq – perfect president day off

Recipes have changed, you will taste it. Prices have gone up, you will notice. Service is still awful! House salad dressing good, ceasar ok, wings not worth it. Pizza ok, and Chicken parmesan good, used to be better before sauce change, plus my pasta and sauce were cold, but after waiting so long for food who would bother sending something back. Management really needs to reconsider the marketing in order to facilitate better service, quality, and more satisfied quests. The service system in place seriously need a complete overhaul just to scratch the service, but I’m sure they don’t want to pay for all that training. This place if for you if your older, retired, have hours to spend on a mediocre meal at s more than price, when you don’t feel like driving all the way to il mulino in fort Lauderdale which is way better and lunch will even costs much less but I digress. Also, would even order food to go to avoid dining experience if you offered curb side pick up.

Sal’s in Hollywood has been a favorite of ours for many many years and never disappoints. The food is cooked to perfection, the service has always been great and Sue who was our server tonight and many times in the past is top notch! We have many favorites on the menu but the chicken Francese, eggplant rollatini, shrimp scampi, chicken piccata have been all time favorites. Tonight I had the linguini with red clam sauce and wow! Better than many of the more expensive restaurants around!
