The food was great. Everything was made fresh. Took 45 minutes to get our food, but it did taste wonderful. Only 1 server in the place, she forgot one order of eggs, couldn’t get her back to our table to tell her so had to go tell her while she was in the back. Couldn’t get drink refills, so we got up and got our own. If you go, plan on being there for a while. Pancakes were not good. My kids wouldn’t even eat them.

I’m from out of town, but I decided to go in in because a friend recommended the fish to me well I happened to be passing through. Great atmosphere, I grabbed an order to go. It was ready quickly and the food was absolutely delicious. The hush puppies are literally some of the best I’ve ever had, a bit on the small side but they gave me three instead of two which made up for the size difference. They’re so good I would have settled for two though. Absolutely delicious and I hope I get to visit again.

Today we had a large group of 45 people stop at Johnson’s Fish House on our Music cities tour. We had pre-ordered with Tanner to help speed things up. Well I can honestly tell you this was a spectacular experience! They handled our group so seamlessly and the food was hot and fantastic. All 45 people were impressed! Served with smiles and laughs with our customers. I would highly recommend Johnson’s Fish house whether it’s just to pop in for a meal or book your group in

Cozy place, very generous portions, and friendly servers. Food came out in reasonable time, and it was hot. Only complaint is the different deep-fried foods all tasted the same. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I want to not have everything taste like it’s breaded.

First visit. Will be back! Best baked beans, sweet and smokey with bbq. Good hushpuppies and fish. But don’t leave without a chocolate fried pie, got mine to go and ate it about 40 miles down the road….OMG GOOD! Bethanie was Awesome!

Took a party of 11 for lunch. Could have given them 4 starts but 4 of us ordered the “Chef Salad” which was terrible in size and content. We should have sent those 4 back from the get go. Food menu is a little pricey for lunch. Place is clean. Service was OK.
