The food was really quite good, lucky find for some great Mexican food. Loved the jalapeño poppers. The kids meal was huge. However, we ended up waiting about 15 min after our meal for the check, not a huge deal but enough for the kiddos to break down. Would go back again though!

We had a Mother’s Day brunch. The margaritas where beyond spectacular! The food was exquisite. For the first time in years, I ATE IT ALL!!!! Great service, friendly! I live by Ft. Garland, but I will definitely make the trip again!

Great place to stop. I liked the food and decor. The manager and staff were on top of things. I liked the queso- they’ll give you plenty! Rice was good and beans were decent. No complaints. Lots of items to choose from. My food came out pretty quick. It was busy when I was there, but not overly so. It appears the locals choose this place!

I was on the tail end of a long road trip cross country. I had been eating camping food for days after camping in Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. I was driving through at dinnertime and really wanted to sit down and have a good meal. I stopped here and went in. It was busy but I didn’t mind waiting or sitting outside. The hostess asks how many and I say one. Her expression changes. “Do you want to order to go?” She says. I said no, I wanted to sit. She said, “well we are really busy’” … I said I would sit outside or wait … she said it will probably be a long wait and outside is closed (others were out there eating). I said I have been driving for days and I just want to sit down and eat a hot meal and I don’t care if I have to wait. She said fine and vanishes for a sec. A short time later she takes me outside to sit. I waited forever to order. After I ate I waited forever (at least 30 min) for the check. The waitress acted like she had better things to do. I shouldn’t have tipped but instead I left a big fat tip and walked out. That experience was the only really bad experience of my massive cross-country toad trip. People everywhere else were so nice …. Not here.

First time eating here and we were very impressed with the food and service. The jalapeño poppers were served wrapped in bacon and had amazing flavors (spicy!!). The portion sizes for the burritos were spot on for the pricing and quality ingredients/meat used. I would highly recommend others to this place in Buena Vista.

First of all, when I think of chili Colorado, I think beef, not pork! But I decided to take a chance & try it based on the description of “slow cooked & tender chunks of pork.” well, it was neither. It was clear the meat was not cooked in the sauce & was the same used in another plate served at our table, & was just combined with the sauce as needed. There was A LOT of gristle & I really had to work hard on chewing it up to swallow. The sauce was very good, however. Other meals served at our table were better, some not so much. Overall, if someone really had to go there in our group, I would go along & order differently. But I would not go again of my own accord if I was choosing where to go. I would have appreciated ordering with someone that had better English skills as several requests were not understood. Servers were polite & friendly, so no problems there

Got my food wrong twice. Finally asked for a refund and left hungry. Had to ask for silverware. Let our drinks go empty. Husbands Tortillas were raw. Hopefully we don’t get food poisoning from this. Even the chips tasted old or bad. Hot and Bad smell in the restaurant too. Disgusting!
