We went to Monserrate Colombia Cuisine as a recommendation from someone at the hotel we were staying at, as an authentic Colombian food. Now, understand, the restaurant is relatively small and inside a convenience store, but never judge a book by it’s cover. The food was excellent! The chicken empanadas are to die for. But even more than the food, was the service. The restaurant is own and operated by a family and they are super friendly. Their interest in providing you with a good meal experience, is phenomenal. We are from Florida, so we have plenty of Columbian restaurants, but I have never been to one this cozy and friendly before. I will definitely come back every time I’m in the Seattle area.

Good variety of Colombian pastries and dishes. The location also doubles as a minimarket offering a variety of imported ingredients. Had a chance to meet the owner and she’s also super nice. The restaurant is kind of hidden in an industrial park, but it’s totally worth the drive.

Food was great and portions are perfect; I’m happy to finally find a place where I can say this tastes like home. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. They also have a variety of Colombian products and some bake goods.

First, the service was so nice! We got treated so kindly! Fun Colombian products too, including frozen papa’s criollas which are hard to find! Really beautiful crafts for sale too. The food was also good overall, tasty empanadas and tamales. Such a pleasure to have this store not far. Location is weird, among warehouses, but very pleasant once you are inside.

Disappointing take out size. Soup portion was too small for being the main part of the Ajiaco dish. At least fill it to the top The containers were half-empty. Lacked chicken too. Big difference between eating there and getting take out.

Wonderful experience and excellent service. Everyone was very kind, attentive, and welcoming. Very clean, well organized, and nicely decorated. The place to go to experience traditional Colombian cuisine. We drove from Seattle and it was definitely worth the trip to Bellevue. Highly recommended.

The customer service is amazing and the food is delicious. Love the empanadas and picada. Also was great time because they have items I can buy extra like candy, pan de bono, and others type of food. Including Colombia’s products
