My husband and I walked in because we had seen great reviews, and we walked out understanding why! With so many unique options on the menu, we ended up choosing the pork belly with eggs in pesto over toast and also the apple / cinnamon / raisin stuffed French toast. They were excellent along with our coffee.

Food was outstanding and the service was friendly and attentive. We sat outside, which was lovely. Thought it was cash only, but the waitress asked if we wanted to use the app to order and pay with a credit card.

Came in around Noon on a Saturday. It was cold outside, so seating was only available inside. The restaurant was full, but we didn’t have to wait long to be seated.

This truly is the best breakfast spot in CT. I’ve tried the blackened eggs, african hash, french toast, and pancakes. Everything has been exceptional. My personal favorite is the blackened eggs. The seasoning is delicious and it’s always cooked perfectly. Staff is always friendly and manages to run things smoothly despite how busy it gets

Apple raisin French toast was delicious! French bread was light yet crispy, and the filling was just the right sweetness. Inside temperature was comfortable and retro decor was charming. Only suggestion is a non menu one – to refresh the carpeting and paint.

It was so good. Menu is randomly amazing (dishes inspired by South America, Africa, Malaysia and traditional American offerings, as well).

What a treat that we found this place on our road trip. The sad reality is that so many places these days do not actually prepare the food they serve. Commercial convenience has taken over the skilled labor that is required for restaurants to separate from the herd. This place is doing it right. We were greeted and seated quickly and with warmth and a bit of charm. My daughter and I couldn’t decide so we ordered a few items. Everything we ordered was very good. The place is as eclectic as the menu. Good real food comes out of this kitchen. As a chef and multiple restaurant owner, I absolutely know the value of a strong staff. You all are doing it well. Such a pleasure to have found you. Even if you are on the other side of the entire country from me!

Came here after being highly recommended by a friend. Was super happy with my visit. The food was delicious and the service was great! I love the quaint and homie vibes this place has to offer. Their almond coffee is a must try. Everything on the menu sounded so amazing it was hard to choose just one. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items off the menu!
