Born in Foggia, Italy, Lucio “Lou” Bozzelli co-founded with his brother, Tony, what was originally known as “Bozzelli’s Brothers Deli. Their business philosophy was simple: SERVE. GOOD. FOOD. Initially, the menu was limited to cold Italian sub sandwiches because they could not afford a grill. Through word of mouth, the only form of advertising the believed in, their business started to grow and as their budding operation improved they expanded the menu to include hot food like steak subs and pizza. Lou’s brother, Tony, continued to operate the business after Lou’s passing in 1989. To honor Lou’s legacy, his wife and children looked to the stars for inspiration–hence, the spaceman–and relaunched the shop and have now grown to five stores.

In town for 24hrs and this location was walkin distance from my hotel. Our food was tasty. The service was prompt and friendly. I was only in town for a night, this was walking distance from hotel. Prompt service, good customer service, cooked to order menu n noticed several uber eats drivers in n out.. .. I recommend actually sat outside at one of the dining tables and ate before walking back to our hotel.

I really enjoyed the metro Italian sub, the bread was soft and delicious. My friend got the mozzarella sticks and they were to die for. They do not have indoor seating, but it does have a small section outside with orange umbrellas for shade. This is the reason for the orange hue in the picture. This place reminds me of an Italian deli that you would find in New York and I would highly recommend to anyone when in the area.

Delicious pizza! I was in town for work from the west coast and this pizza joint was right around the corner from my hotel. I ordered online and picked it up. Got back to the hotel and dove right in. Ordered the BBQ chicken. All I’ll say is that this place is definitely worth stopping in for lunch or dinner if you’re in the area. They also have a mix/match 6 pack of beer tote and a decent selection so you can’t go wrong…. Awesome Pizza and beer? Win win.

I went to Bozzelli’s with my father for a lunch outing. I have never been here before but I decided to try something new. The menu is very diverse and has a wide range of salads, wraps, subs, and pizzas. One important thing to mention is that they do not have indoor seating. They have about 20 seats outside but depending on the weather you decide. A majority amount of people ordered for carry out. Me and my dad chose to order in store and wait and it only took about 12 minutes. My dad got a steak and cheese sandwich and I got the Fugetaboutit pizza. The pizza was delicious and my dad said it was a really good cheesesteak sandwich. The cannoli was absolutely amazing. This location is not too far from my job and I do plan to go back there again.

Visiting Washington DC and stayed in Arlington, VA. This location is near the hotel I stayed at. It was a quick pitstop upon arrival. I ordered a classic Italian sub. It was wonderful. It was fresh, ample meat and the peppers set the sandwich completely apart from any other Italian sub that I’ve had. Friendly staff.

Had lunch here yesterday and it was very good as well as quick. Nice little pizza shop with outdoor dining. Lots of folks came and went in the short time I was there. I was staying at the Hyatt and wanted something else than what the hotel was offering. If you’re in the area go by and try their pizzas.
