This place exceeded my expectations! When it opened, I heard mixed reviews, but 7 months later I came for my birthday dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. The beet salad was full of flavor, the modern cosmopolitan came with colorful flowers attached to the rim, the Chilean sea bass also came with plenty of flavor, the lobster dumplings had a nice chunk of lobster in each one, and to end it all the chocolate tart with molten chocolate and caramel ice cream was quite tasty!

Upscale spot that is great for dates and meetings. Great modern american and is owned by the same chef of On Swann and Oak & Ola. Schedule a reservation for Friday or Saturday very early in the week. You have to put a card down and they will call you and remind you of your reservation the day of. Service was absolutely great and atmosphere and cleanliness was exceptional.

The service was phenomenal and the atmosphere was beautiful, but the food was just not exceptional. Justin was a great waiter and when he found out we don’t drink he had 2 special mocktails made for us. They were so damn good. The appetizers were very delicious, the French onion soup was good .. not the best. The Parmesan cheese was burnt and the other cheese was super chewy. The main dish the sea bass was under seasoned and just not that good. The Mac and cheese side was watery and bland tasting although the mashed potatoes were delicious. The chocolate dessert was overly sweet and the coffee was literally Luke warm. Overall I would rate it at a 3.5/5.

Atmosphere was Exquisite. We had appetizers Tuna, Calamari, Escargot, field Green salad Main Course Kansas City Steak, Lamb Chops Absolute Perfection. The desserts WOW our Server Michael was personable and knowledgeable about the menu he made the experience complete. Will definitely be back.

We started with the house bread and an order the parker house rolls. The truffle butter with the rolls was great. The house bread options were fantastic. Service was very accommodating and attentive. The food was decent but modest. I had the escargot to start, followed by the Kansas City dry aged strip steak with an order of sweet potato. The escargot with the flakey crust soaked in butter was nice. The steak was cooked to perfect medium/medium rare but it was a bit tough and under seasoned (still decent and very eatable). I also tried the seabass which has a glaze that was so overly sweet it ruined the whole dish. There were nothing special about the sides, sweet potato and shishito peppers, but they were large enough to share with the table. Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner outing with friends in a very nice restaurant with good service.

My better half surprised me with a most memorable birthday dinner. Ask for Nathan as he made our culinary experience incredibly memorable. The curation of the menu instantly captured my heart. Our curiosity got the best of us which required a to go bag!! We found outside patio dining to be extremely pleasing and comfortable. Fantastic golden hour opportunities for photos too. Oh

The experience at Ponte Modern, American Midtown Tampa was awesome. The service was amazing between our waiter and anyone else who could possibly help you. Spectacular food, including my wife’s Chilean Sea Bass and my vegetarian mushroom risotto. The pay-for rolls were worth the price tag, too.
