Absolutely wonderful staff. Quaint restaurant with a relaxed, beachy atmosphere. For being an older restaurant, they were up to date with technology which is usually NOT the case. We were able to do a Google reservation and they had a table saved for us. Crab legs were wonderful! My husband got catfish and it was so hot and fresh!

Now that’s how seafood’s supposed to be done!! Just happened upon this driving through this town. The seafood platter (grilled) was the best catfish and crab legs I’ve had. Highly recommended!

Food for the most part was delicious! The soft shell crabs were a little greasy and the fries were “meh” at best. The service was wonderful tho! Treated you just like you were at home! I would love to go back and try more!

We called ahead because we had a few questions about Catalina’s and what they were serving… Cathy answered and was absolutely wonderful with providing all the information we needed. Coming with a family of five, she told us she’d have our order ready when we got there and that she did. Not only was the service and hospitality exceptional, the seafood feast was fresh and tasted incredible. The prices were very decent and fair for the amount of food we got. After finishing our meal, we went over to Catalina’s ice cream shop which is attached to the restaurant. Also incredible with a delightful atmosphere. Great selection of ice cream flavors and different sweet treats to choose from. When choosing a place for your family to enjoy a seafood feast, this is the place to go. Thank you to Catalina’s and their crew for such a delightful and delicious experience! We will definitely be returning!

The Food I ordered was fried but very good. Probably one of the best seafood platters I’ve had in awhile. The staff is nice and attentive. I’d return here to sample more of the seafood.

A great find while touring Bayou LaBatre. This restaurant would be worth a drive of an hour or so. Family owned and operated by the same for generations. The shrimp gumbo was very good with a thinner sauce than usual but loaded with spicy shrimp, so it was a new amazing experience. The sautéed crabclaws were large and sweet and we had them sautéed, which was with garlic, butter and worcestershire sauce. The exterior of the building could use a little fixing up, the inside is a little dated, but very clean and friendly.

Place is simply amazing! Service and food are top-notch. Able to sit our party of ten and we all got our food in a reasonable time frame. Our server was just awesome. Great local restaurant, highly recommend!
