This place might sound great but I was disappointed with their rubber tasting brisket it was bad tasting I love brisket but this place didn’t have the good one would not recommend,the chicken was good and fries but that’s about it the service was good the lady was very polite and helpful but that was it would not return here…sorry

Been going here since I was a kid & other than decor & prices not much has changed. Heard it went under new ownership within last year or more but I see so far no change in quality of food. The prices like everything however are getting little ridiculous. They still have the old fashion popcorn maker in dining room that’s free for customers to shovel into their faces while waiting for the food. Not only do I get popcorn to shovel into my mouth I like to get few condiment cups full of pickles to chomp on as well

Sept 30, 2022, my son and I went tonight for our dinner! Delicious food, generous portions, and great service! We ordered a full rack of ribs, a whole bird, sweet potato fries, onion rungs and fried mushrooms!! Delicious!! Lots of leftovers! Service was very nice and attentive!!

I really enjoyed this diner. The food was great and the staff was friendly. Definitely lived up to the expectations of a BBQ grill. Only negatives were that it was a bit cold inside, so the food got cold a little too quickly. Also, there was no blue cheese available for the hot wings, which I find as an expectation when ordering hot wings. The price I’d consider “medium range” as for the amount of food you get is fairly portioned. I’d definitely eat there again but would consider eating outside if it’s really cold in there next time. Overall a great experience!

Ordered clam strip platter with curly fries, asked for well done clam strips. Received claim strips that were not well done and very soggy curly fries. When called lady who answered phone was rude and making excuses as to why food was not done as ordered. I will not be going to this location any longer. I also think it’s hilarious that the owner has the need to respond back to every customer to explain “her side” of the situation. She stated that it took me an hr to call back, it was about 15 mins since I left the restaurant. I have ordered a few times prior than today and never had this happen before. The fries were not left in fryer long enough because how busy they were at the moment. Their focus was just trying to get orders out. She DID NOT ask me at any time to go back to fix order! THAT WAS A COMPLETE LIE! AT NO POINT DID I ASK FOR MY MONEY BACK, SO PLEASE STOP MAKING ASSUMPTIONS! When that is far from the truth! All I wanted was my food to be cooked properly!

Franks is a cheat meal for me. I’ve had ribs that were great, ribs that were too fatty. But never a loss b/c my dog gets the extras. Pulled pork sandwich is really good, even when I reheat to eat the next day. Burgers are always great. Never had a bad burger. Brisket is tasty. My new favorite is the hot sausage. My mother said the hot dog was tasty as well. Not a fan of steak fries. And all the veggies are all fried. The 1/2 bird & the hot wings are good too. You really can’t miss with the menu. I always order extra cornbread.
