We’ve been living here for about 5 years now and we have tried almost every Italian restaurant around. Once we found Sansone brothers we won’t order from anywhere else, and we live right down the street from downtown new Brunswick. Everything they make is delicious, pizza, chicken parmesan, and their linguini in white clam sauce is amazing! Their garlic knots may be the best in central NJ!

The pizza slice was good. Not to thin and crisp on the bottom. The guy at the counter looked bored and it took a minute or two to notice that I had come in. He was much more friendly when a young woman came in.

I have never had a pizza with no taste. I ordered a large pie with pineapples. The cheese and tomatoes must have been expired and the pizza was so dry. I wondered if they forgot the seasoning or something, it literally had no taste. I shouldn’t have to go home and Dr. up my pizza. I was so disappointed. I will never go there again. Horrible.

Well, I think I’m officially done with this place, sadly. At 6:17pm, I ordered two Sicilian slices and a side of mozzarella sticks via DoorDash. 90 minutes later – an actual hour and a half, my order arrived and it was two plain slices. Even if you don’t have anymore Sicilian, why did it take an hour and a half to produce two plain slices? It was so long that my DoorDash driver changed three times. So not only did it take a very long time, but it wasn’t what I asked for. No courtesy apology from the restaurant or anything. I’m trying to extend grace during this time, but I’ve had multiple instances of bad service.

I heard great things about this place. I ordered ahead, got there, and nothing was ready. The two guys working there didn’t greet me and I was just standing there with no idea if someone would come to the front or not. Finally someone asked me what I ordered and it still wasn’t ready and took another 20 minutes. (65 minutes for two cheesesteak that were ordered ahead!)

Don’t sleep on hole-in-the-wall pizzerias. Sansone Brother’s Pizza might just be a small spot in a strip mall, but their pizza is great. The grandma slice had an excellent, thick, chunky sauce. The base was well-crisped and the cheese rocked. The fresh basil tied all the flavors together to finish off a great slice. The peppers and onions slice featured excellent cheese and sauce. The ingredients were clearly fresh. The base and crust were both pleasantly crispy. I’m a fan of this spot.
