This place is a hidden gem! My wife & I heard good things so thought we’d check it out. I was honestly expecting generic, overpriced “beachfront restaurant” type food(like the getaway). This was not the case

So glad I found this hidden gem! Literally the best wings I’ve ever had (and I’m not a wing person). I commented to the waitress how awesome they were, and she let me know they slowly smoked them for six hours.

My roommate has been passing this place for weeks, saying we have to try it out. We finally set a time when a friend came in town to visit. I’ve been craving scallops so I was excited to see them on the menu! We started with the smoked fish spread and cocktails, The Guy Who Bought A Boat and the Purple People Eater. Both were very good! The large portion of the fish spread was just the right size for our group of four.

We heard great things & had to check out Mullet’s Fish Camp. We made reservations but when we arrived the host told us it would be another 45 minutes to get seated outside by the performer.

We had a couple Yingling‘s on draft during happy hour on Friday today and we each had grouper tacos, one ginger influenced and the other Cajun along with an appetizer of naked wings. Hardly anybody here and service was good, If not a little rushed, got here about three and heading out about 430. It’s really a great concept outback here, steady stream of Jamaican reggae music but the food is just OK and anything fried is cooked in peanut oil with no exceptions. Grapeseed oil would be nice!

The service, fish spread, tacos, chicken sandwich, music and my Margherita was outstanding. My first time here.. the best ever! Plenty of seating.. just a wonderful experience.

Service at the bar had us at 5 stars to begin with. Vibe of this place is amazing and hilarious with punny Joe Dirt references and after the first round of drinks and live music, that’s when it truly sealed the deal. Smoked wings, pull and peel shrimp in the dierté sauce, and Caesar were everything and then some! So happy we stopped in and can’t wait to come back!

My mouth is watering just thinking about these wings… Believe the hype!!! We got wings with the dry rub and the merman and dirté sauce on the side, with their blue cheese dressing and a side of cole slaw. Everything was delicious! Wings were perfectly crispy and a nice smoke to them that didn’t overpower the other flavors. The merman sauce appears to be a play on a Carolina gold BBQ and I loved it! (I lived in SC for a few years and this was on point). Great service and live music was fantastic too. Can’t believe it took us so long to get here, and definitely planning our next visit soon.

We got the fish (amberjack) spread, grouper (Fl man seasoned) tacos and fried snapper sandwich. Loved all of it. Will definitely be back.

The wings have no business being this delicious. Two days after we visited for the first time, we noticed Mullets was trending on Reddit for best wings in the Bay Area. I cannot agree more! The fried Cajun catfish was excellent and the fresh fries are delicious . The island rice wasn’t that great but our meals were so good that didn’t even matter . Shrimp were jumbo and fresh! The absolute star of the show anytime we visit has always been the creamy Cajun pasta. Can add salmon, shrimp, mullet or grouper to it . Will return again and again!
