As a first time guest at this location, we were hesitant to dine here as the parking lot was pretty empty for a Saturday night. I really appreciate our waitress for doing everything she could to help make our meal better. We initially ordered the Coach’s Signature Nachos and a basket of their Signature Fried Pickles but the nachos were mostly chips and a minimal chili and cheese sauce. The fried pickles were also undercooked. The waitress was happy to substitute the nachos for the Cheese fries as that was my alternative choice. She said that since the kitchen was closing soon, she made them herself: the effort really shows as they were five times better than the nachos. Overall, not a bad spot but the quality of the food could definitely use a upgrade. For us, most likely a one-time restaurant.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back from the mountains and were looking for good bar type food. We appreciate locally owned places and this one hit the spot. Solid atmosphere and everyone enjoyed their meals. We went on a Wednesday and they had bottomless wings (boneless it traditional) with fries for $14.99. I’d definitely recommend this place based on our experience.

Was in Wilkesboro in July 2023 for a Family Reunion and went to Coach’s for dinner. I wass lucky enough to have Brooke A as a server. She was very helpful and informative about the food. My 2 brothers and I loved the food and her service. We will definitely come back to Coach’s when in town for our next Reunion. Thanks Brook A!

It was a pleasure all around. The server was friendly and attentive, the food was tasty, well-portioned, and it has plenty of TV’s and sports memorabilia. I had a side salad, grilled chicken club sandwich with fries and a brownie Sunday dessert. Yum!

Our waitress Amber was friendly and efficient. I’d return here and ask for her! I had the surf and turf with ribeye. It was seasoned amazingly well. Hubby had the Thursday special 69¢ cent wings and really enjoyed them. The couple behind us was charged $3 for blue cheese. We’re not sure of all the details, but we heard them mutter under their breath as they left that they would not be coming back. That’s a shame.

The service was a little slow. The table beside us sat after us and left before we ever got our food. When we got our food, I requested a knife, which took forever to come, then my burger was not cooked well done like I requested. We had been there so long, I just elected to leave. I probably won’t return.
