One of the most amazing dining experiences of my life! Diverse lineup of amazing quality fish with subtle toppings that weren’t overbearing. Birthday was made perfect with their service and the surprise was phenomenal. Easily among the best omakase restaurants in the city. We showed up 10 min late (first time ever it was a poorly coordinated surprise!) but as opposed to every omakase place in the city they were accommodating and we didn’t miss a step!

Insane value for money. If you were looking for an omakase in NY, this is it. The quality of the ingredients are out of this world.

With omakase restaurants all over the city with prices going into the hundreds, it’s hard to know which ones are really worth it. At $65 for 12 courses, Sushi Fan is a steal. All the pieces were delicious with each piece being better than the last. The last few pieces were truly exceptional.

Went there with my family, both of us were impressed with the value of the food! First of all, 12 courses for only $65, and secondly the food were very fresh!! Even tho they are still under soft opening, but very worthy it to try it. And forgot to mention that the best part is you can BYOB!! Will be back again.

Visited nyc for a weekend with a group of 11 people. One of our friend stumbled upon this place one evening and insisted that we must give it a try and O M G the sushi here was delicious!! Every individual pieces of fish was so fresh and dressed with just the right amount of soy sauce and topping!! You get 12 pieces for ONLY $65 !!! The guys behind the bar was super friendly and attentive! I have tried a few other “timed omakase” around Manhattan including sushi by bởu n sushi by m but this place gives you the best bang for you buck !!! I will definitely be back !!!

Incredible experience. Girlfriend and I were wondering around East Village in hopes to find a “decent” sushi spot. Noticed this gem on google maps and went to their 830 pm seating without reservations.

This place was lovely. Some of the best tasting and beautiful sushi I’ve ever had. Hung out at the bar with a tasting menu that would have easily cost twice as much somewhere else. The staff and chef were super friendly. I really hope this place takes off!

Never had a Omakase before and decided to give it a try. Very satisfy with the experience here! High quality food, great atmosphere, and the staffs are very friendly. Having all the high quality and the best to me is Salmon and shrimp, the best I ever had. Very creamy and tasty, definitely will be back here again. Highly recommend!

Sushi fan was an incredibly high quality sushi/omakase experience. This is a more casual atmosphere and environment, but the service is above and beyond and the sushi is incredibly fresh. It’s a very reasonable price as well for an omakase meal with high quality and really great tasting sushi.
