It had been many years since I had eaten at Companeros, and I’m so glad my family decided to return while on vacation in the Park Rapids area. Perhaps the best feature is the fully screened-in patio seating area – no more having to choose between outdoor dining and bug-free dining! It was fabulous out there. Our server was so friendly and engaging without being intrusive, and she gave us great menu and drink recommendations. The food was served piping hot and was delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! Great food at a great price, and fantastic service!! All staff were friendly and helpful, even tho they were so busy. And singing happy birthday for my birthday was awesome ! Plus the delicious free fried ice cream was a bonus!

I’ve eaten here several times, as well as ordered to-go and it’s always been consistent, friendly service and great food. Food is ready at the time they tell you when you call ahead to order. The margaritas are excellent. It’s a restaurant I wish was open year round!

Always a classic place to eat. Very clean business with extremely nice staffing. Prices vary, but you get a lot of food and it’s amazing! Lunch or dinner here is always a good choice. As they’re limited with the season, stop in and enjoy some great Mexican food!

The service was the best part about this place. It is not Mexican or even Tex-Mex. It was seriously the only choice we had about what and where to eat. The staff was great and friendly. The food left much to be desired, however.
