Cute little establishment nestled in a fairly busy area. Ordered the almond boneless chicken lunch special and crab Rangoon appetizer. Placed my order inside and was told it’d be a 15 minute wait. It was ready in just under that. Chicken was average, nothing too special, fried rice well-cooked and steamy, egg roll with bean sprouts (my favorite). Thicker brown gravy sauce for chicken, orange sauce for egg roll, orange/red sauce for crab rangoons. Fairly average, not the best I’ve had but not the worst either. My only criticism is about the crab rangoons, although they were crunchy and hot, they were not fresh. They lacked a crisp crunch and crunched more like they were stale. Still very delicious. Overall experience was not terrible, want more bang for my buck, will come back to try some of the other things they offer.

Awful food! This was my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant for many years when I lived in Roseville. Food was excellent and prices very reasonable. I returned today after having moved from the area several years ago. It was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The breading on the sweet-and-sour chicken was soggy/mushy. The sauce was so thick and sweet it was sickening. The Eggroll tasted strange was also mushy. The ‘fried rice’ was by no means fried rice. It was very mushy white rice mixed with brown rice. So disappointed! Will never go back.

My Husband and I went there on Christmas Day. The lady who took our order was rude. We wasted 32.00 dollars on this food that was under cooked and the rice taste like it was cooked in a dirty pan. The ribs tasted old and dry. I will never go back again.

We have ordered carryout from here for years, but were terribly disappointed with our meal yesterday. The szechuan lo mein noodles were barely cooked, totally different texture and flavor than in the past. Sweet and Sour chicken had 3 pieces of pineapple, no other vegetables. Sad, because we really used to enjoy their food. Called and asked if new chef, they said no…and maybe our tastebuds had changed?

We went here spur of the moment and honestly it was just a waste of time! We ordered the general tsaos chicken and the pepper chicken combinations. The rices was sticky and mushy and the chicken tasted repulsive. The only this worth trying is the wonton soup. I very nicely complained of the meals and was still charged $13

So this used to be my favorite Chinese food restaurant when I was a little girl. My parents used to go here and order my entire family of eight Chinese food as a treat. This was the best restaurant… But they have come down from where they were in previous years. The portion sizes are small, the rice is very dry, the servers are rude, and they don’t serve the big sweet rolls anymore. I’m sad to see this restaurant end up like this.

Wow is all I can say. I used to love this place however in the years I have spent away from the area it has sadly declined. I recently acquired a new job in the area and decided to order lunch. Not only was the cost of the lunch combination portion equivalent to other local Chinese dinner prices but the food quality is poor. My fried rice consists of more white rice than fried and my sweet and sour pork lacks any vegetable accompaniment. Sorry Bok Ho but I have to say BOK NO.

Been going here since 1997 when Pearl City went downhill (parents built the rep, retired, kids destroyed it) making me search a new venue!
