We have ordered takeout from Francisco’s twice. The first time was good, but they forgot the plantains with our order. They were quick to offer free plantains with our second order and WOW were they DELICIOUS. Some of the best sweet plantains I’ve ever had.

This place smells like home. Just brings back such a good feeling coming here. For me, it was more than a restaurant. More like an experience. I ordered the jerk tacos and the oxtail and both were absolutely delicious! Thank you, for providing me with such a great home feeling and great food. I will be back!

We had Cuban steak and yellow rice (bomb), the Cuban sandwich is aways sooo good and then shrimp tacos and cilantro rice was AMAZING!! We aways get empanadas as well. Haven’t tried the Oxtail but that is next on the list. In the past have had all fish dishes, jerk chicken and BBQ chicken If you haven’t eaten here you are missing out!

I absolutely LOVE Francisco’s! I drive an hour from La Crosse to Rochester just for them. It’s totally worth it! Their oxtails are finger licking good and I order them every time! The atmosphere is very chill and the ladies up front are amazing! They make me feel comfortable with their smiles and inviting nature and puts a smile on my face every time I come. I 1,000% recommend Francisco’s to anyone looking for delicious Jamaican or Cuban cuisine!

Today was my first time coming here after discovering it while doing door dash. Caribbean tacos were really good but pretty overfilled with ingredients. They were out of empanadas unfortunately, definitely will come back though.

Update: whenever we’re in Rochester, we always make it a point to stop by for a meal. The oxtails are so good – tender and moist. The rice is always perfectly fluffy and flavored. Plantains are cooked perfectly, crisp when you bite the outside – ripe and sweet on the inside. Still so good!

Small place convenient location directly across from St.Marys. Very small place, looks like mostly for take out. I had the traditional Cuban and my friend had the Francisco’s Cuban. For both being cubans they were on different bread. We both had fries as a side and half were crispy and have were mush. The traditional Cuban was good. IMO could have had more pickles and mustard. My friend said her sandwich was also good. I would definitely go back to try other things. I wouldnt make a special trip for the cuban sandwiches though.

A nice surprise in downtown Rochester. Food was well seasoned and portions were highly generous for the price. Service was on par with the food. A great experience overall. Definitely coming back.
