quite literally the best sandwich I have ever had. I got roast beef and the garlic herb turkey and they were both equally as delicious. the bread was the star of the show. crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. will definitely be returning! 11/10

I was at first wary of a long wait, walking in at lunchtime to a line with 10 people in front of us. However, the friendly staff was so fast and efficient at taking orders and making sandwiches, that the whole process took about 5 minutes from getting in line to receiving 3 sandwiches! “Cash only” also speeds things up.They serve Boar’s Head brand products, and there is a nice patio outside with shaded tables. Conveniently located across from the park.

I know, I know… you’re thinking it’s just a sandwich… but, until you have experienced the warm fresh crisp crunch roll that this quality deli meat sandwich comes on…! Believe you me..! It IS an awesome experience!!! Order your choice, grab a beverage and when you get your item go out to the patio seating and at least eat half of it! This hidden gem has THE BEST sandwiches in San Jose. Back in college, everyone in Greek row called it the “secret sandwich shop” because of its lowkey profile. I usually get the classic for the 3 different meats, but you really can’t go wrong with any sandwich. The sourdough bread also comes out steaming hot is mouth watering good.

I can confidently say, that you haven’t eaten a real sandwich, until you’ve tried one from here! I’ve tried sandwiches from every establishment out there, and nothing compares! Where can you find a sandwich place that bakes their own sourdough bread, and bbq’s their own meats? I think there might be one other place in San Jose that does, but there is some type of connection to this location. Side note: the employees at the other place are not very friendly.
