Came in just because I ran across this restaurant. Sampled several menu items and found them all to be above average. The waitress was in my opinion very good. She knew when to approach us and when not to. She also knew a lot about the history of the business and very easy to talk to. The dining room to me has a little bit of a cafeteria vibe but the food is well worth it. My new favorite Chinese restaurant.

We’ve really come to enjoy this restaurant. The food is delicious and fresh. The moo goo gai pan is fantastic, as is the mandarin beef. The staff are very friendly and especially nice to our young one. We’ve ordered takeout far more than dining in, but the tables are comfortable and the spacing is not crowded. Parking is easy, too. I appreciate that is not greasy. We really haven’t ordered a dish we didn’t like.

I wish I could give this a better rating because it was highly suggested that the food was good and it’s a good place to have a nice quiet time. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor, the rice was not something I’ve tasted before it was fried rice, and the sweet and sour chicken that I had was absolutely flavorless. While the portions are quite hardy, the lunch was a disappointment.

We eat at the Herfy’s frequently so have wanted to try this restaurant. It was okay. We walked in, was seated. The restaurant smelled delicious. We ordered off the lunch menu. I had sweet and sour chicken, won ton soup, and fried rice. She had the Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup and fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was different from what I’m used to. Most was good but some of the chicken I couldn’t cut with a fork. We probably wont be back.

This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. When I lived nearby, I would eat here at least once a week, if not more. There is such a dedicated clientele here that the owners and staff know most of them by name, which has always struck me as a great sign. The food is the traditional Chinese/American style that is found in many neighborhoods, but I am always struck by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. I also highly recommend the Mai Tai 😉

A very nostalgic old-town feel, with good food that hasn’t changed for as long as I can remember. Even the staff has mostly been the same for the last 20 years. If you want some huge servings of feel-good Chinese food, this place is sure to satisfy.

disappointing service. they completely forgot about my order I made over the phone for pick up and when I went there they had nothing ready and told me it would be two minutes to make it and knowing it would not take two minutes to make my meal and when I asked for clarity on how long it would really take they just walked away saying they would ask then never answered my question and when I said I could not stay and just put together my soup order for my daughter and drop my meal which needed to be cooked this still took 5 minutes and when I asked for a discount for the disappointing and stressful experience they said there was nothing they could do, which them simply not caring about me, my time, or my business as I have been a repeat customer. My daughter enjoys their soup but I have not enjoyed ordering food through or my experience with them personally. Not sure if I will be back but will be reluctant to want to order food with them or give them my business following this stressful, slow, and poor experience.
