I was expecting a much nicer atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. The music was too loud, the beer was warm, my mixed drink was poured from a can, and the can set on the table…It felt more like a cheap bar room than a restaurant, and ambiance is important when you call yourself a restaurant. We thought we’d try it for our anniversary and we’re sorry disappointed. I would suggest hiring a decorator, turning the music down a notch, asking staff to tone it down so customers can actually have a personal conversation with each other, chill beer prior to serving as we aren’t in germany, serve mixed drinks that are actually mixed and served…Good luck with your improvements!!

On vacation and I was headed out to the Suwannee River. Heard about how good and fresh the seafood was at this restaurant. Found the place to be very clean, the people very friendly, and the seafood excellent. Nothing was overcooked. The dishes were moist and delicious. The dessert most excellent.

Service was very good. Ordered shrimp, scallops, and deviled crab and all I say is that they missed a good chance to have great food. The deviled crab just need a new recipe which included crab. Shrimp and scallops were mediocre.

Stopped in for a Sunday lunch. No hamburgers for a cheeseburger. Ordered 2 shrimp lunch plates. Only one came out with all the sides. Other plate was bare with no Cole slaw because they ran out and no hush puppies. Shrimp was good. Cole slaw was plain. Dissapointing to say the least as I have been several times before. Wait staff was to worried about getting side work done. Will think twice about going back again.

Will not be going back!! Mediocre food at a high price, ordered fried pickles and there was 16 for $4.99 not worth the money, crab legs were under cooked, needed more seasoning in green beans, and what kind of place puts a pile of silverware on the table for you to sort out. Seems they have some things to work on themselves. Just make the drive to Lake city and go to Cedar River Seafood for seafood done right.

Food was fair…..not seasoned enough for me. …….but it looked like they catered to order clients….called in an order for 5pm ….to pickup at 7pm….had to wait for it to be cooked after I got there to pick it up. ……did however add extra food to my order and offered me a soda on them…..but after working a 12 hour shift I just wanted home time…….

Had breakfast. Hubby had shrimp and eggs with Susanne fries. He gave his a 6. Suwannee fries were excellent shrimp cooked perfectly. I had biscuits and gravy the sausage gravy bland. The service was excellent!
