I really love that the gravy is served separate from the egg foo young. The shrimp are approximately 1.15 inches and tender. Eggs a soft yellow. Rice tender and flavorful with bean sprouts, green onion and egg. Egg roll vegetables tender. Overall, great choice for lunch today. No shortcuts on the lunch special, cannot wait to purchase a dinner. Cashier patient and cordial. My new venue for Chinese dining west of Chinatown Chicago.

Used the Yelp EAT app on a recent work trip to have Fortune House deliver some grub. Despite the less than stellar reviews I loved my experience. Delivery was fast and the food was fresh and delicious. I ordered some egg tiles, crab dragoons and Singapore Noodles. I found the food to be wonderful and tasty, particularly the Singapore Noodles…YUM! Will order from here again, for sure.

Let me start off by saying both the spring rolls and the egg rolls taste great…not greasy or oily as some may. They are family owned and operated and don’t have ac in the summer. Legit if you walk into that place they are literally sweating over the food that they are making…ok…bad image but you get the idea. I mention this because some places reheat or fake bake their food. Everything is made to order. Hot and delicious. This food is made like they love you because that’s what you taste when you eat it.

However, if you have any issues with your order, be aware that they will flag your account as manager/owner personally told informed me when I called to inform them that my food had arrived cold, something that has never happened. My very first complaint was about the driver leaving my food at the door and not notifying me that my delivery had been left at the door.
