Huge portions and incredibly tasty. Highly recommend getting both the lemon curd AND the blackberry topping on the Gingerbread French Toast, and the homemade whipped cream is a must. Far better drip coffee than most breakfast places as well. And the staff are so friendly and welcoming!

Small dinner, looks to be family owned with home made food including some fantastic berry cobbler and brownies. We’re in the area for a few weeks and will be coming back for the hudge macaroons! I had clams and fries, and was a big serving. Not stingy with the clams. Hubby said the burger was great too.

This place is adorable and the waitstaff is the sweetest! My son wasn’t going to order because he gets car sick on trips, so the waitress surprised him by bringing a ginger ale and a gingerbread cookie for the ride. The gingerbread pancakes ARE SOOO GOOD. The burger and Cajun tots were great too. They had a musician playing a guitar and singing covers of classic rock. We will be making this a normal stop on our way to Eugene.

My wife and I had lunch today at the Gingerbread Village Restaurant. What a great experience! We had take-out fish and chips, Mother’s day this year, and it was really good. Today I was expecting good food, but it was absolutely delicious. I had the French dip with hand cut fries, and since I had seen pictures of their onion rings I had to have those as well. Excellent food. Laurie (sp?), our server, learned that it was my birthday and the whole staff, including 3 chefs, brought me a delicious, huge, brownie with chocolate chips, chocolate frosting, and cream cheese topping with blackberry compote and sang happy birthday. Thanks so much Laurie, Carol, Kendall, and you 4 others who I didn’t get your names. Prices are what you’d expect at a decent restaurant and the servings are generous. Who has 3 chefs working on a Thursday morning??? Wow.

We got to meet the owner manager. She shared with us an album of her grandma’s photos which was really fun. The food was great and in large quantity. And don’t forget to take home dessert. The hand cut fries were outstanding. Okay that’s good

Such an adorable shop!!! The staff is so sweet!!! I love the gingerbread and the animals. It’s a family business with clearly a lot of love and passion for gingerbread people. Carol & Laurie are great! We even looked at the family album. Definitely stop here, take some photos and eat!!!!

We loved this little gem! Tucked into the trees on the side of the road, this gingerbread themed restaurant offered excellent food, service, and ambiance. It’s quaint and homey and it feels like you’re visiting your grandma’s house for breakfast. The plates are huge and if you like French toast, you’re in for a treat! Worth a visit.

Food and service were both amazing! We ate outside, but did go through the restaurant to buy pastries. They brought our dog fresh bacon and water. Service was excellent, sandwiches huge and delicious. Will definitely stop again!

Great stop to eat if you are anywhere near the central Coast. This is a throwback diner with all things gingerbread as a specialty. But don’t just stick to the gingerbread – everything we had was delicious! I highly recommend the clam chowder – tastes like grandma is in the kitchen cooking! Their portion sizes are very generous. This a welcome break from the fast food chains. Sunday brunch with gingerbread pancakes – what’s not to love? At a minimum, don’t leave without one of their yummy gingerbread cookies – the best I’ve ever had!

We went by on Sunday after leaving the coast and unable to find anything without a wait in Florence. We have always wanted to stop here and I am so glad that we did!!!! These people, the staff are just phenomenal. We truly enjoyed the experience of coming here and eating on their little outside patio with our puppy. They brought ice water out for our dog and gave her a special treat of bacon!! All of the food that we ordered was really really good. Cheesy garlic fries were amazing. I loved my chef salad and my husband loved his club sandwich. My son said that his kids cheeseburger was the best he’s ever had. My daughter liked her grilled cheese sandwich, and the kids gobbled down a milkshake that I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture of before it was gone!!! We will definitely be back, thanks also to Mary, what a sweet person!!!
