It’s soo funny! I have been looking for a good breakfast place for my visits to Monroe and hadn’t found any then, all the sudden I find Lea’s but it was recommended for lunch not breakfast. Well, I had breakfast for lunch and really enjoyed it. Their lunch selection isn’t very large, breakfast isn’t either but it covers all the bases. I look forward to coming again for breakfast.

Great old school style diner. We tried the Stuffed Biscuit that was mentioned in other reviews, and it was good! We got bacon, egg and cheese, and shared a LARGE pancake. We’ll definitely be back.

This is what a small town diner should be. Eggs bacon hash browns all cooked perfectly as requested. Did I mention biscuits and gravy. Wow. Sausage gravy with actual sausage in it not just run through it. Perfect biscuits. I will be back soon as possible.

Absolutely excellent food! We stopped in for breakfast. I had eggs, sausage, grits and biscuits with sausage gravy. So yummy! My husband had the eggs , bacon (best bacon EVER) , grits and French toast.

TL;DR This is what Cracker Barrel wishes it was.

Food was delicious, service was quick and efficient. Waitresses were all so friendly. I was in a party of 8 and everyone received exactly what they ordered. All of us were still talking about the tasty breakfasts we had 2 hours later. Will definitely eat at Lea’s again.

We came in for breakfast last week and service was bad. Thought we would try it again today in hopes that it was just a bad day for them. Nope. Service was worse today and they were not even busy when we went. Unfortunate because the food is decent and the prices are good.

A Louisiana legend – some of the best pies in the world. Great place for a casual breakfast or leisurely lunch. Mello Joy coffee is good. Ham sandwiches are hard to beat. Convenient location.
