Not a great first impression. Young man at the counter started off extremely unfriendly. My gorditas were very greasy and the steak tasted strange. The tacos Al pastor had good flavor, the carnitas didn’t have much flavor. Salsas at the self serve were not fresh. Overall, don’t think we’ll be back.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant ever. I have been eating here for at least 6 years and I’ve yet to find another Mexican restaurant with better carne asada and jalapeno salsa. Though the prices have gone up in recent years I don’t mind because I just love love the tacos. The service really depends on who’s there, but everyone is nice. Since they took down the self-serve sauce station I don’t think they give you enough sauce, but you can always just ask for more. Also, the chorizo gordita is great.

Love, love, love this spot! My order consists of steak tacos, gorditas, burritos & all of them are great! This is the go to spot if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food! Trust me I’m a foodie & hands down Taco’N Madre is by far the best!

I so wanted to give this establishment 4 stars but couldn’t because my order was so screwed up. Waited almost 15 minutes and the order was not correct. I ordered a kids quesadilla meal with rice and they didn’t put the rice in the container. Ordered 2 tacos with tomatoes, cheese and meat and only received ground beef on the tacos. There was lettuce in a bowl. We ordered 3 tacos fully loaded and these also came plain with only meet! The rice inside of my burrito was hard as if it had been cooked a while ago and reheated. With all the good reviews I was so hoping to have found a new spot for Hispanic food.

I was looking forward to trying this establishments birria tacos to experience a new burst of flavors. Unfortunately to my surprise the first bite tasted of unseasoned meat it was very bland. I took a second bite just to make sure I was not tripping. The meat had a lot of fat on it as well. The only source of flavor came from the sauce you dip the tacos in. I tried the beef tongue tacos too and as expected the meat was bland.I was very unsatisfied. I normally don’t leave reviews but I was only able to stomach two bites of my food and it ran me almost 50 dollars for two people. The chips and dip were good tho.

Birria tacos were too tough to chew. White chicken enchiladas had nice flavor but the chicken was overcooked. Rice was very good.
