Made this stop as part of my daughter’s birthday weekend. Was not busy at all, which was surprising to me as imho this is the best pizza joint in Florida. Stoner Pie, Cluck You Pizza, Pokey Sticks, garlic Parm fries, ice cold beer and a great atmosphere made for a phenomenal meal!

Make sure if you eat at this restaurant that you check your credit card statement or your bank account for double charging. I was in there the other day and they charged me twice the same amount even though I only used my card once. And the second charge to the card came through 4 days later and I never tip on my card when I called the restaurant to get some kind of explanation I was told by management she doesn’t know what happened and that since they didn’t take no money there’s nothing she can do when I clearly told her that they took $10 out of my account which caused my account to overdraft $35 I wouldn’t recommend eating here The food is substandard and the service don’t get me started on it. I ordered a pizza and it was supposedly being made as I was waiting but it was cold. However I will give them credit the pasta was really good.

I ordered a delivery order. It arrived on time and with a very nice driver. BUT. The one thing I ordered. A veggie pizza, it was so doughy and undercooked I couldn’t eat it. The sauce and cheese mixed together and all slid off because only the cheese cooked. The dough was so bad I put it back into my oven. After heat blasting the delivered pizza I took a bite and still couldn’t stomach it. My pizza party became a 40 dollar wasted party. That was the most expensive garbage pizza I’ve ever tried to eat. The toppings were so scarce that I thought they got my order wrong. I only wrote reviews when I didn’t get to eat my food in peace and last night I threw out my twice cooked raw soupy pizza.

Got the stoner pie and we loved it! It took a little time to get it (20 minutes or so?), but it was an extremely busy Friday night, so a totally reasonable wait. Girls working were super nice and gave us everything we needed for takeout (plates, red pepper, and parmesan). Will be back when I’m in Gainesville for sure !

Gumbys is a good, local pizza joint. Is it the best pizza in Gainesville? No chance. Is it decent? Definitely. They have awesome lunch specials and some great daily specials. However, the regular menu prices on almost everything are laughably exorbitant. The counter staff service has always been hit or miss with me. Some workers are super helpful and pleasant to talk to. Others are obviously only there for a paycheck and act like it is intensely laborious to take an order.

I don’t eat pizza all that much but when I get one I want at least what I paid for. This is my first time here and never got a pizza here so I ordered a xlarge cheeseburger bacon the picture looked great,trust me looks can be deceiving. Waited 20 minutes and when they called my name I couldn’t wait to try it but immediately I knew something was wrong when I picked it up it was light and cold and it looked like a small 6 pieces for 3 it tasted like it looked a cold day old pepperoni pizza

Great pizza , Amazing bacon and cheese fries, the best Parmesan Garlic wings, and Thai Chili wings. The prices are good. There is a bar and pool and big screen with sports…this is the place to be during a game…pizza and pitcher of beer for $19.99
