First time at Ernies. Very clean and well laid out with regular tables and taller bar tables. No booths. I got the cheese steak on hoagie bun. Large portion, hot and fresh, but lacked flavor. Wife had the fried shrimp which she said were absolutely delicious. We shared a basket of fresh cut fries that were very good! Will definitely be back for the Wednesday seafood night of crab legs and shrimp served after 4pm.

Another tucked away place but right in “downtown” Bourbon MO. 6pm Saturday and every seat was taken…but look at those pics…that is why! Hubs had the catfish sandwich and I had the smothered chicken sandwich which was perfect grilled chopped chicken, green peppers, onions and mushrooms on a homemade roll that would rival any bakery from “The Hill ” (in St.L).

Absolutely awesome service. The burger was fantastic and the appetizers we had were great. Servings are pretty large. They have fair prices on booze and lots of specials and happy hour deals. Fun atmosphere with a jukebox and a few video games.

I’ve eaten at a LOT of food places over the years and THIS place DEFINITELY moved to the TOP of my list after ONE visit. The place was PACKED and the staff were still SUPER friendly Our drinks stayed refilled and the atmosphere was second to none. I’ll DEFINITELY be returning
