Watercourse Foods in Colorado is a haven for those seeking a twist on classic American diner fare. Here, traditional comfort food is reinvented through an entirely vegan lens, offering both a nostalgic and innovative dining experience. The menu boasts a wide variety of options, from hearty burgers and sandwiches to scrumptious pancakes and milkshakes—all plant-based. The ambiance captures the charm of a quintessential diner, while the staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about vegan cuisine. Whether you’re a committed vegan or just curious about meat-free dining, Watercourse Foods offers a delightful culinary journey that satisfies cravings without compromising on flavor or ethics. Don’t miss their daily specials and creative dessert offerings; they’re sure to leave you pleasantly surprised.

I sampled a few items on the menu and I have to say that my expectations were very high. I’ve tried lots of vegan restaurants and this is one of the most mediocre one I’ve had.

My guy ordered a Mezcal cocktail off menu and I ordered the Rose Gin cocktail and it was perfect: tart and dry. We shared the Caesar Salad which was quite good. I had the sweet potato carrot arrincini over lentils and a bit of an arugula salad atop the platter. It was good not great. I REALLY like the arrincini but atop the lentils and with the arugula salad..it didn’t totally work. But still I ate every bite. So it was def good enough!! my bf had the Cubano..he is def not vegan so the seitan as the protein didn’t do it for him. The fries were great..they’ve got to be at a vegan restaurant!! And give me all the vegan ranch!!! We sat outside and it was lovely and inside is super cool and buzzing.

I am so happy I came here. The atmosphere is cozy and really nice to hang out in. They have a QR code to get to the menu. Watercourse has really friendly staff, and the food came out really fast! I definitely recommend the Cuban sandwich which has the right amount of flavor and crunch. I like the extensive cocktail menu they have as well. They even have a specialty Mocktail list which is such a perk if someone doesn’t drink or is trying to drink alcohol less!! I am definitely coming here again!!

Watercourse has been a go to of mine for years! Great staff, delicious flavors, and nice atmosphere. I recently tried their cheese board for the first time and it was top notch!

I’m not vegetarian, but my wife and daughter are. So, wherever we go they drag me along to all their plant based joints. Most have been pretty good. This place was phenomenal. Starting with the greeting by the friendly, inclusive staff it just got better from there. Waiting for the food I had the opportunity to walk around and see all the amazing art on their walls. A quick trip to the bathroom where the sign read “Whatever you are” quickly reminded I was not in genderphobic Florida (a welcome respite). Then the food…what a delight. I had the Cuban sandwich and I had to keep reminding myself there were no animals used to prepare this – simply scrumptious. Everything else was just as delicious. What a gem this place was. Veg or not, this place is definitely a must when in Denver.

Wonderful experience! Came from Orlando and visited Watercourse and City O City, both were so good! City O City’s mac was so incredible, and the soup and grits were so great at Watercourse. Tom, our server, was attentive and totally sweet when I had to send back my whiskey sour (I am a baby with whiskey) and got me a mimosa instead. The women upfront with a black pony + bangs was so sweet as well, telling us all about the restaurant and making sure our experience was great. Thank you for having great service and great food! Will be back 🙂

I enjoyed the gluten-free options and the ginger molasses cookie. I got the Mac and Cheese with no cheese, but coconut sauce.

Well I’m not really sure my review here is really making a difference, this business has a record that clearly speaks for itself. The food is phenomenal, the restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and spacious, the staff are very friendly, and you can eat here guilt free with there extreme ability of making the most delicious dishes using almost entirely plant-based ingredients for the majority of the menu. It’s a good thing I don’t live closer or I would be here every week!
