Jones Tavern Menu – Falmouth, MA

Type : Restaurant

Location : Falmouth, MA

Located in the heart of Falmouth, Jones Tavern is a classic American tavern that offers guests a welcoming combination of home-spun, American fare alongside a wide variety of cocktail and craft beer specialties.
Built with the intention of being a comfortable meeting spot for locals looking to share stories at the end of their long day, Jones Tavern draws inspiration from it’s surrounding, hard-working, and uniquely American neighborhood.
Revitalizing a nearly forgotten Kansas City Steak House space that at one time was the go to for dining , Jones Tavern feels nostalgic. It’s open-air, wood floor restaurant & bar, and soaring, original wood beam ceilings remind us of a time when dining halls and supper clubs were a way of life.

Based on 56 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.7 stars. Price

Here’s the 411 on this place! I’ve been coming here for sometime now. It seems the hotel and restaurant is now under new management.

Terrible service. I would not recommend you dine here. Was not welcoming at all. The server had a nasty attitude and was selective of who got what meat portion additionally they were only serving one cookie per person. Even asked an ADULT where his mother was at and to point his mother out so he could have 2 cookies. Had to ask for ice tea to be served. The food was OK but it wasn’t good enough to deal with the terrible service. Diamond tours should take this place for dinner off the itinerary!

We had dinner at the Tavern on the last day of our Diamond Bus Tour. It was the worst meal of the trip! Dinner was served buffet style which infers going back for more if you were still hungry. That wasn’t happening. One of our number who got a small portion to start with was turned away because she had already been served. And it wasn’t that appetizing or tasty. When seated, we were elbow to elbow even though they had plenty of floor space for more tables. I will not be returning either on my own or by bus!

Wow! Cool place, our server was a pleasure, quick and efficient. The menu looked like it was scaled back, typical for our times I guess. Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was tasty, wife had the chicken Caesar and she enjoyed it. Overall pretty impressed and will return.

I’ll start with the positives. The young woman working our table was attentive, but poorly informed and untrained. THIS IS NOT HER FAULT.

Rude, obnoxious management. Unfamiliar with adult development, in that senior citizens were treated like toddlers in a very hostile and aggressive manner. The food was as bad as the service. This establishment IS NOT tourist friendly and I would not ever visit there again. I give it one star because there is nothing lower.

Had the Hunters Chicken and Grilled Salmon. Both entrees were delicious. The restaurant is currently under construction, which lead to our meals taking a bit longer. However, our waitress was very kind throughout the meal. The kids also enjoyed their meals, which come free with adult entrees.

Food was ok, certainly nothing to write home about. Bartenders were nice when you could get someone to serve you but they seem overly distracted and under assisted.

Hotel restaurants tend to be kind of mediocre. This one, quite unassumingly, was better than expected. Not a 5-star place, but well above average for the food, and rurally-appropriate for the service. I stuck with locally sourced seafood. Your experience may vary if going with other menu items.
