Their food is Tasty and customer service was excellent also price is reasonable, I will always go back there whenever I’m in Staten Island for their Egusi soup and pounded yam, I also ordered peppered fish to take out

First time ordering I got the egusi with pounded yam and idk that egusi tasted old or off idk I was disappointed bcuz I really wanted to enjoy the jellof at first taste of to much tomato and was actually tasted better the next day with that being said it wasn’t the worst and it wasn’t the best maybe they had an off day I will give them a second chance

They have the worst service, the owner complains about everything and she’s very lazy. The food is never fresh, if you order from door dash you are getting trash. Call before you go there because most of the time her door is locked but it says they are open. Most of her customers go across the street to get Tropical Cafe since she’s always closed. She has no competition yet that’s why she’s so relaxed. Africans need to wake up. We need better and we can do better.

The food here was even more delicious than I remember having in Nigeria. I ordered Efo and Egusi with fufu and everything was so flavorful, authentic and perfectly made. The meat stew included in the dishes had chicken, goat meat, beef and shrimp in it…and the meat was so tender and flavorful….you can tell a lot of time, effort and love is being put into this food. The prices were also very reasonable for the amount of food you get and the quality. I am so impressed and will gladly patronize this store always.

Under renovation. Stood outside while some lady (owner I believe) served me food from from a soda fridge while on the phone throughout the transaction. Another customer came got upset and left. Food was C grade. And type pricy for a C grade

I have purchased food from this restaurant several times and each time it’s a different experience. But this time I had the beef and goat with the fufu and let’s just say I ended up on the toilet with a case of the runs. I don’t know how long the food is held over but after a day or two the food needs to be tossed out.

Very friendly. Great customer service. Half empty containers of old/dry food, all meat was stale. That was a waste of $40.
