Driving through Gallup on our way to Phoenix we chose this place because it’s a dog friendly restaurant, and we were delighted. The BBQ pizza, New Mexico linguine, spinach, dip, fried ravioli, and the bread that came to us when we sat down were all excellent. And to top it off our server, Amanda was super sweet.

Each plate we bought was $17. It was worth it! I ordered the bowties with sausage, mouth watering! My child ordered pizza. He was ok with it because the pizza did not have sauce under the cheese. The person I’m married too ordered a chicken piccato. I tried it, it was perfect! The place kept getting fuller and fuller with many customers as we waited for our order. Our waitress was supper nice and very attentive.

Ordered a Calzone and meatball linguine and sweet tea to go. Was told “20-25 minutes” (red flag 1). They were EXTREMELY busy, seemed very disorganized with all of the staff all over the place. 50 minutes later Calzone is undercooked, sweet tea was not good, and meatball linguine is watery.

On our stay over we enjoyed a late lunch. Our server Bailey was outstanding – very attentive, friendly and made all the right suggestions. The pepperoni pizza had great ingredients and crust. The amber ale hit the spot as did the gelato.

It was clean, the wait staff nice. The fried ravioli was from frozen and so were the fries. The salads were huge and had good fresh greens. Portions are large! We thought we were ordering light with two salads and two appetizers. We could have gotten half that and fed two adults lunch easily. Decent for a pit stop on a road trip.

My wife had first stopped here a few years back when they just opened and we were like the only ones in the place. Well we just recently stopped here for lunch when passing through and the word is out .. the place was swamped. We chose to sit outside on the patio and it was very pleasant. We ordered the bruscheta appetizer, a salad and fried raviolis. Everything was very tasty and filling. Our waitress had to cover a lot of tables, but she did a great job and did so with a smile at all times. In fact, all of the wait staff was hustling and working hard – nice to see young kids making a difference. We enjoyed our visit and likely will return if in the area.. it seems to be the best option in town.

My experience here was delightful! Service was pretty good, waitress super nice, good temperature, and loved the atmosphere. I would give it a 5/5 but personally, the pasta I ordered needed a little more something. Still was fantastic food! I would recommend this place to people. The gelato is delicious! You can sample stuff and you get what it’s worth! Definitely coming back when I can!
