Mexican is my favorite kind of cuisine. I have eaten at more Mexican restaurants than I should ever admit. This is the FIRST Mexican restaurant where the beans and rice were actually good and flavorful. If the rest of the meal was marginal, the beans and rice would have pushed it over to great, however each of our meals was deliciously prepared and by far some of the best Mexican food my party had ever had. Each dish had distinct flavors, and even the 3 different fajita dinners that we ordered were distinct. If we were not almost 800 miles from home we would make this a weekly stop. Great service, great meal, clean restaurant, reasonable prices. Must try!

Everyone at my table agreed that the food was excellent, the service was outstanding and the prices were exceptionally low compared to other Mexican restaurants. We feel it is a definite choice for a good Mexican food in the Edmonton area. The service was above average with a very friendly waitress who kept us up on our drinks and always there when we needed something. Excellent sweet tea too.

Horrible customer service. I was alone and maybe that’s why a table of 2 and a table off 6;that cam in after me were ordering their food before I ordered anything to drink. I walked out. It’s ok the place was dirty looking anyway.

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. Have never had any issues, food was excellent and service was awesome. So along with 4 other families we decided to visit for dinner on a Sunday. All the kids want to sit together like kids do. There was no “hello, hi” nothing I haven’t even taken my seat and the co- owner/waitress lets me know, rudely that it’s an inconvenience for my kids to sit at another table and how it’s difficult to get food/drinks to them that way? Well I was planning on making sure my kids got their drinks and orders. So when time came to get our drink orders she only took half of ours purposely overlooking my kids and husband. We had to ask 3 times after being ignored deliberately, she then once again exclaimed rudely how it was difficult for them to get everyone their drinks. So I told her sorry that we were an inconvenience and I left. For one thing, a customer goes to a eating establishment to be served and fed. If this is an inconvenience to you, the owner, server, waitress, cook, chef etc. then you should find another occupation. I’m completely disrespected by the rudeness not only by a waitress but a owner whom we’ve been enjoying services/food from for years. This was my last time at Mi Pueblo. And I know my family of four don’t mean anything to this establishment but it’s sad that we were treated this way.

When I go out to eat I expect to be able to sit back an enjoy a meal. Don’t go here if that’s what you are expecting. We had just sat down and the server came over to take our order. I asked him to give us a few more minutes. I made it through one page of the menu and here he comes again asking what we wanted. He was really blunt about it too so I just picked something really fast to get him to leave me alone. It completely ruined the experience for us. The sub par food didn’t help anything either. I will not be returning. When we go out to eat I like to order an appetizer, drinks, main course, and maybe even some dessert. At this place I couldn’t wait to leave. On the bright side we saved money because we didn’t have enough time to order more then one thing.

Fairly clean, but smelled of old grease. We were the only ones in there at 1:30 in the afternoon. Strange? (Maybe not for a Monday). Who knows… The food LOOKED good. The other three in our group said their food was ok. The server was rude when my husband asked for no sour cream on his taco salad and wanted salsa instead. Really! It’s a Mexican restaurant. They have salsa! Right! Look at my pics… I was singled out with a nasty meal. My quesadilla was filled with salt and/or MSG, I piled on beans and sour cream to hopefully make it less salty, not helpful, SO SALTY to the point after about 4 bites, I had a headache and couldn’t drink enough water. Anti-American! I didn’t say anything in the place but, left almost all of my food on the table, which let’s the cook know.

Great food, great service, good atmosphere for the location. Prices are a little high, but isn’t that the way of things these days.. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Mexican food.

Food is great, portions are big, service is good and prices are on point with other comparable restaurants. I love having this place so close to home. Fajitas are always enjoyable there.
