It’s rare that I get to experience a place that gets 5 stars in every category. Everything was perfect. The place is smaller than I thought it would be but is active yet cozy at the same time. The lights were dimmed just right and the service was impeccable.

Disappointing. I have been frequenting this place since it opened probably 15 years ago and have always raved that it is one of the best restaurants in the world, not just Omaha. This was the first time I have been disappointed in both the food and the service. The dinner started out well with the manager coming over to introduce herself. It went downhill from there. The waiter was pushy and upselling to an annoying degree. The service was not good even though we had a waiter and waitress team. The calamari came out quick enough. It was plentiful and delicious as usual. It is unique, lightly breaded, and meshed well with the fresh mango and accompanying sauce. After the calamari was finished, about 20 minutes later a salad was served to our table. It took about another 1 from there to get our entrees and I had to request that the order be put in. In the meantime, my iced tea glass sat empty for about 20 minutes. The 14 ounce New York strip was top quality, cooked perfectly, and delicious to the last bite. The fries, which are usually the best anywhere, were several minutes over-cooked. I can’t believe that the kitchen would send them out and the server would serve them. The basil risotto was average, probably a little too heavy on the basil. No one ever asked how our meal was. It was a slow 2+ hour dinner with pretty bad service, where drink refills were virtually nonexistent. The only thing the wait staff was quick about was picking up the credit card signature page. This place seems to be going down hill and this was not the food quality or service that I have grown accustomed to. I will be going elsewhere at these high prices if things do not improve in my next visit.

First visit to Mahogany Prime was for a family birthday celebration, 7 adults and 2 toddlers. Started off very interesting as we sat directly in front of the bar. I’m not aware of the space available throughout but this was not a positive.

Best steak I’ve ever had and I ordered their cheapest option . I never once had an empty glass. The servers we had were very nice and explained all of our options. We will be going again for some of their pricier options once my bonus check comes in. The lobster cargot we had was amazing. My favorite part is the food being served on a hot plate. Totally worth your hard earned dollar! This dinner made our 5 year anniversary extra special.

This was a great dinner. I highly recommend the lobster cargo. Amazing blend of buttery flavors, so decadent Our server/bartender made excellent suggestions and cocktails. The mac n cheese was heavenly. I prefer grass fed/finished steaks to corn fed but the steaks were good, if perhaps a little tougher than you would expect from a steakhouse. The fried shrimp were butterflied and quite large. Delicious. Overall great food, service and ambiance.
