The waitress was a bit rude and when we asked if we could know our total she just stared at us like we were stupid and went “yeah.”. When we found out our total we were a bit confused because the items we got should’ve only been about $20 together including the tax, but it ended up being almost $30 and when asked she just shrugged and said it wasn’t her problem. When she came by every now and then she always had an attitude about having to come talk to us as if she didn’t want to be here. All in all I rate the whole service a 3/10 the food was pretty good though.

Came from Texas, for a hometown visit. We are in our 60’s …waited for food for 45 min. Bartender accused us of harassing her when we asked where our food was. She threw our drink receipton our table and said pay for your drinks and get out! Never in our lives have we been so embarrassed for the girl and her hospitality, or lack of. Obviously, they could not handle the half full restaurant. She was clearly overwhelmed. We went down the street and had a great meal and service.

Normally we go to Barleycorns 1-2 times a week. We LOVED Barleycorns. When we arrived we were rudely greeted. That’s fine I get it Sundays are busy and we had beer questions since the list just changed. Sadly my order was made incorrectly— maybe it was me not being clear or missing a detail. I don’t think I was but I also get it if it was me. Literally 100% not upset about that. When I realized my meal was wrong I went up to the girl at the bar and kindly let her know my sandwich had mayo on it which I unfortunately have a weird aversion to and made a joke about how I’m weird and I know it. She promptly said she was busy but would come over in a bit. I saw her talk with the cook, point me out, showed what looked like my ticket but she never came back. I honestly assumed they were perhaps remaking it. But it became very clear quickly it was not the case. The entire meal our table was entirely avoided. Drinks ran out quickly (and we like to get 2-3 rounds) and no one returned. I’d normally say it’s because they were busy. But they did not seem busy at this point either they were polishing soda cups and hanging out. I didn’t want to go up and confront them

Had gone to this place some time ago, and was excited to go back. The burger was great, with a nice taste to it and good style in composing it. However, the BBQ on my wife’s sandwich was way-out salty… it was to the point that she did not eat much of it. The fries were good (not mind-blowing) and the beer selection was excellent. The server was a bit odd, and did not wear a mask, which was a bit off.

We were there on a Monday night, passing through town on the way home, and were the only customers in there at 5:30-6:30. Very extensive menu with a lot of fun choices. My sandwich was okay, it was good, not necessarily exceptional. A little pricey, not that’s probably more just a sign of current times and rise in supplies

This is a sweet Main Street deli in Wamego, KS. I had a Mafioso sandwich (their version of an Italian) and it was delicious. The side of Chessy Cron was also especially yummy. They have local beer on draft too! I found the people to be nice and the food well worth it!
