The meals here are excellent in taste and value for money, but what’s even better is the service. The people who run this restaurant are locals who know what they’re doing. The wine and beer selections are excellent and it has a great family atmosphere. Locals bring and keep their coffee mugs here for a quick refill. Excellent, well done to everyone.

What Ever (What)
Had the bloody Mary and surf and turf. Gave the dealers choice on the style of halibut and the chef didn’t disappoint. Bloody could have been a bit stronger but had the perfect amount of spice. Even the suggested coconut cream pie was delicious and had an aftertaste of a doughnut. Was delightful. Would visit again if in the area.

I absolutely love this place. Their breakfast burritos are stellar and the Alfredo is delicious too! They don’t skimp on the portions and the wait isn’t very long. This is a very small & quaint restaurant with loads of character!

The food was fine and the prices are reasonable for it being a restaurant near the coast. Service was slow because they only had one server, but he was professional and as quick as he could be. Overall a good experience.

Worst food I have ever put in my mouth. The man that gave us the menus was rude, the women that served the food was rude. The waiter was a nice guy. Food was nasty , granddaughter couldn’t eat her food so salty. Fried clams were frozen and tasteless, the plate I received was greasy and unpleasant. If you want a good meal on the road DO NOT stop here!

A few weeks ago, I visited with a big group of friends. Right off the bat, we were asked to wait outside, almost as if our large group was seen as a bother rather than a source of business. Unfortunately, our experience with the waitress left much to be desired. Some of our friends from Colombia aren’t fluent in English, and despite the waitress being able to speak Spanish, she insisted on taking their orders in English. This lack of empathy was rather disheartening. She even seemed frustrated with our group for having a good time while we were ordering, going so far as to threaten to call her husband, and even the police, over a harmless joke one of our friends made while ordering. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in to serve our table, bringing our food and allowing us to complete our breakfast without further incidents. The food was great, but the service by the waitress was unacceptable.

Food was reasonably priced and what one would expect for a roadside restaurant, was pretty good. It’s unfortunate they have to share space with the Bunkhouse cabin property owners who were flying some gross flags.

The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns were crispy & the bacon cooked well & extra thick. The homemade biscuit was whole wheat, fluffy & flakey. They have gluten free toasts & even sugar free jelly! The coffee was excellent & service too!
