Fantastic place to eat dinner. We were going to the place next door but they were closed and the two people inside gave us nasty looks when we tried to open the locked front door so we went to Aldente . We were greeted with big welcoming smiles. Seated immediately . The service went smoothly and we never had to ask for anything, the staff just magically showed up at the right times. The food was great and it also came out quickly and it was sooo good. Good place to visit the next time we visit the area.

We came here for our anniversary dinner. It is a small spot, so I recommend making reservations. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. I got the Quattro Formaggio with linguine, and my husband got the Arrabbiata sauce with penne and Italian sausage. Everything was delicious. For dessert we got the lemon gelato, a must try if lemon is your flavor!

I ordered the Primavera with vegetables in the white sauce. It was good. Liked the sauce, but there wasn’t a lot of vegetables. My husband got the special. Today was swordfish with roasted potatoes and cooked spinach. He enjoyed it. The fish was prepared perfectly. He even ate the spinach. Before the meal you are served bread with tomatoes. It was very good!

My sister and I brought our combined 4 children here during spring break and a wind storm. We were treated to remarkable service and care. Just so grateful for the lovely souls that work here. My five year old son called our waiter his brother uncle and we had to take pics. Mom heart full.

One of the best restaurants we experienced during our US trip. Others claim to serve Italian food but fail miserably, but here you get good pasta and proper tomato sauces! Service is also perfect and friendly without being too present.

Cute patio. Food was average, nothing special. Everything is “ala-cart” … salad is extra. I asked for a cup of hot water with lemon and was told I’d be charged for tea, even though I didn’t order tea. When I pointed out that cold water was free, and asked why hot water was $4, the server mentioned the lemon. When I asked if I could get the water without the lemon, he said he’d see what he could do. He came back with hot water without lemon. I wasn’t charged.

We had one of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time at Al dente this weekend. We dined on the patio. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We brought our baby with us to dinner and the whole staff was so accommodating. We can’t recommend Al dente enough. We will definitely come back every time we visit Palm Springs!!
