Can you say avocado fries? so delicious!!! Good atmosphere to dine and relax. I sat outside. Nice bar area, but a little small. Overall, great place to go if you are a first time visitor to Newport.

Food and drinks were excellent. The place lacked atmosphere for us. Others may not think so. The guacamole and salsa were just outstanding. The margaritas were made perfectly. The dinners of tacos and burrito were so delicious. Other than the waiter spilling part of my drink on our table, he was very nice.

4.4 Stars, Chips and salsa were excellent, smoking flavor with fresh made chips. Black beans and cilantro were fantastic along with the empanadas. Service was ok, it was busy, live music was great.

We did have sit outside because of a pop-in visit, but inside seemed cramped anyway. Seats and tables were sticky. We had a pitcher of watermelon margarita which were a bit syrupy for my liking – I ordered a modelo to cut it. Appetizers of Queso Fundido and Shashito Peppers, followed by a shared order of Blackened Tuna Tostada and Korean BBQ Duck Breast Tacos.

The food was good. Get the fish tacos. They give you a ton of chips and guac, butnyou have to order it as an app. There was nothing wrong with the service. The atmosphere was quaint. We didn’t see the ghost of CaptainStephen Decatur.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. While the food was absolutely delicious and flavorful, I was extremely disappointed with the size of the tables. The tables were so small that it was difficult for our group to comfortably enjoy our meals without feeling cramped and uncomfortable. We asked our server when we saw the table before we got seated, if there was a larger table and she said, your a party of 4, that’s the table. (It was a slow Wednesday early evening)

Excellent in every way. Wonderful, prompt and efficient service provided by Olivia. Skinny spicy margarita was one of the best I had as were the chips and salsa. I had the lobster tacos and they were delicious! I made two more reservations before leaving the restaurant! I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was very delicious but the service was very slow and we felt forgotten being in the corner outside. No one came to ask us if we wanted a refill of our drinks, our appetizers came out quick but the dirty plates stayed on the table until our food came out almost an hour later. They didn’t take our dinner order until after we had already finished our apps. No check-ins during the meal and apps to see if anything was needed. We always had to flag down someone for assistance.

This is an amazing restaurant. If we were local, it would definitely be a favorite. We had the tostada and enchiladas, mwah!! If you want a real treat, try the avocado frys…DANGEROUSLY good. We finished everything off with one of the most amazing Tres Leche cakes I have ever had. I look forward to going here again.
