Destination Soul Food is a culmination of flavors and recipes passed down for generations. Originating from South Carolina and then sharpened and cultivated in New Jersey. Two cousins came together to deliver a different cuisine to South Texas, more specifically to the Rio Grande Valley (RGV). Na’eem Hasan (Chef Na from New Jersey) learned how to cook from his step-dad. Pamela Woods (Chef Da Queen from South Carolina) learned from her mother. Na’eem and Pamela discovered they both shared a passion for cooking and decided to create and share their soulful family recipes. These bold spice mixtures and flavors have been the centerpiece of their family for years and will be the same for many families in Rio Grande Valley. Come Feed Your Soul!
