Recently we had a chance to try Nick’s Steakhouse for dinner with friends – it was simply outstanding. Starting with the ambience – this old home was converted to a warm gather space with deep blue walls, white trim and brown leather booths. The bar, while on the smaller side – is an amazing space as well – it was all very welcoming. The food and wine were delicious and the and service was outstanding. A great place that we will absolutely revisit!

Went with my husband and daughter and it was enjoyable. Their food was really good,loved their fish. But I have to say their dessert was amazing I had two servings of it.., I believe it was the cheesecake and it just hit the spot. The restaurant is a cute and quaint place to have a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The server was wonderful and it has a nice vibe. Look forward to coming again if we find ourselves in Maine. I highly recommend it..,you won’t be sorry…only if you don’t go.

Great new spot! Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside is beautifully renovated and decorated. We came with my parents and 9-month old son and everyone loved it. They were super kind to my son and even let him hand onto an extra menu book to play with. Nick is an extremely personable owner and came around to our table a few times to make sure things were good. Food was all amazing – stand outs were: tuna tartar, Cesar salad, porterhouse steak, and roast chicken.

From the moment we arrived one could tell from the atmosphere that this was going to be a great experience. The owners and the staff did not fail. The owner stopped at our table to express his gratitude for our patronage. From there it just got better Susie our waitress was awesome and very professional. The Bill was commensurate for the quality of the food. I would highly recommend checking out Nick his wife and their fine staff you will have no regrets.

My father and I dined at Nick’s Steakhouse this past Saturday and it was amazing! We got multiple appetizers, entrees, and sides and they were all delicious. The drinks and dessert were great as well. Tobi was our waitress and she was very welcoming and friendly. Nick, the owner, came around to every table to greet the guests, check in with how their experience was, and made genuine conversation with almost every table. We would highly recommend visiting Nick’s and we will be going back soon!

I never thought Maine would have a high end steakhouse, but they do. We live in NY and have a bevy of great steakhouses, and Nicks is as good as any of them. They do the little things perfectly as well as everything else. For bread they send out delicious pretzel bites with a delicious dipping sauce. We had salads to start and my Caesar was delish, and my wife had the house salad and loved it, note that they are large. For dinner I had a perfectly cooked and extremely tender 24oz ribeye, it was as good as it could be. My wife has the scallops with the corn bisque sauce, it too was perfect. Sides are also large and well cooked, I believe their desserts are great too but we had no room. Finally Meghan our server was on top of everything, always smiling and checking in on us. If you’re tired of lobster and love steak or other wonderfully prepared foods go to Nicks.
