Prices not accurate. They only accept cash as well. Seems like all restaurants in Chinatown only accept cash. It would be nice if they had a place to stand and eat their food. Surely it can be less space than a place to sit for their customers.… Nevertheless the CURRY CHICKEN banh mi was SUPERB. This is my first one and they truly exceeded my expectations. Good job!

My traditional Bahn mi was pretty dry given what I’m used to. I won’t claim to know how to make them authentically, but my preference is for a bit more sauce. The meat was super chewy; I couldn’t bite into it, so it was a bit challenging to eat the sandwich. I was excited to try this as it was so well rated, so maybe my experience is a one off.

Tofu banh mi is pretty good! $8 per sandwich for very sizeable sandwiches. Bread is crusty and crisp, tofu is well marinated and tasty, and the toppings are fresh. Sandwich was a bit dry though, so I wish they provided some more sauces (chili or hoisin) – maybe you can ask for more. Everyone who works there is super friendly and nice. I will be back!

Food is good, could be a little fresher. But people are friendly. Place is small so don’t expect to “dine in” for long. You can still sit and eat comfortably

Good bahn mi sandwiches to satisfy your Vietnamese food cravings. There’s isn’t a ton of Asian food in the downtown area but this place is nice, the service is quick and the bahn mi is pretty good and yummy. The bread is crispy and yummy and quite a good size. Great deal on sandwiches, my favorite is the vegan bahn mi with tofu ,it’s $8 before taxes and that quite a deal for downtown area. The workers are always really friendly too.

I choose to visit this restaurant because I was walking the Freedom Trail when hunger pangs occurred. Their street sign on the sidewalk was the first I noticed.

I did find a piece of hair in my bahn mi, but I’m ok with that. The bahn mi was still good but the bread was lacking. Any bahn mi should have an amazing baguette that fully constitutes the fillings appropriately.

Had the vegan bahn-mi sandwich – it was tasty. I would have given 5 stars if sandwich had more tofu – and even better would be use of other plant protein – the baguette was out of this world, but a bit large – felt like I was eating mostly bread.

Beware of old food! Too bad. I had high hopes, and I wish this wasn’t the case!
