I wanted to try Hawaiian BBQ, this place was recommended by a friend. There was plenty of food, we ordered the Gravy Fries, The BBQ Chicken Bowl, The Loco Moco I believe the name is and the Trio BBQ dish. It was all pretty good. The owner was in there and she was extremely helpful and nice.

This was my first time having Hawaiian. And honestly i can say every bite was utterly delicious. I tried their spicy lava chicken and it was delish. Sweet, tangy and then you had your light heat. It was great. Valerie was very informative about menu options. I would definitely recommend this place, and i will try different things on the menu. Also the drink you see in the below picture can only be found in Hawaii and it was good also.

Being from Hawaii, and being Hawaiian… I know Hawaiian food. This place is so good. Reminds me of Home. We haven’t had any Hawaiian food since we left in 2018, this was a great experience. I love this place and everyone is so friendly. We are blessed with the very first L & L barbecue in Savannah And Georgia for that matter. The servings are generous, and it’s very flavorful. If you’re Hawaiian and looking for a taste of home, this is the place to go. Angel, the manager, is awesome!

Meat and sandwiches were wonderful! Prices are fantastic for the amount of food you get. Lost one star because the vegetables in the bowls didn’t taste good and had brown spots (seemed like they were boiled for a really long time, mushy, watery, and flavorless). But overall an enjoyable meal and again you can’t beat the price!

I have been wanting to come in since they opened, and today I finally came in and couldn’t be happier! I came in with zero clue on what to get, and the person who waited on me, Angel, was super kind and helpful in figuring it out. I ended up ordering the BBQ mix, which has BBQ chicken, beef, and spare ribs. It was so good!! The meat just melted in my mouth and the sauce was great, I wish I could’ve ordered everything! I will absolutely be back, I can’t wait to try the Loco Moco and Chicken Katsu! Amazing service, fantastic food, and great atmosphere!

This place is so over priced! The BBQ plate is $21 and all it’s just cheap chicken and cheapest beef there is. With globs of BBQ on it and tons of fillers like rice and macaroni salad. It’s a doggy wet mess. We had Long Horn’s the previous night and got a great quality chicken with Parm and half of rack on BBQ ribs that fell off the bone, not chewy like this place. Two quality sides for $25. Talk about rip off’s. People out here don’t know anything about good quality culinary food.

I’ve been to the L&L’s all over Oahu and have been driving 2 hours to the one in Jax, FL. I was super excited about one coming to Sav. Drove from Guyton to try it. It’s a very small place with very limited seating. All 2 toppers. We placed our orders (garlic shrimp plate, Kailua pork plate & cheeseburger kids meal ♀️). The plates are like $19/piece. Highway robbery. Not even on an island do they charge those prices. Once we snagged a seat I looked at my receipt and saw he decided to take it upon himself to give me the light garlic shrimp. I asked him to change it so I can get the Mac salad & rice. He blamed me for ordering it incorrectly. Super rude guy. Our food finally came out and it was not good. Mac salad tasted like pure Mayo. Dry rice. Not a piece of garlic on my garlic shrimp to be found & they forgot to cook my daughters fries. I was so disappointed. I literally wanted to cry after paying $55. If you want Hawaiian food- drive to the Jax, FL. Location. Avoid this one.
